There's so many shakes on the market, what one to choose? I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I may not like, so chose this brand on both price and protein content. I mix this with cold milk and shake before letting sit until I'm ready to drink it. I use a shaker bottle with a metal ball inside and I've never had issues with lumps. It actually tastes really nice. You get a nice thick shake with this mix - I bought another brand without a thickening agent in it and I don't care for the nesquik consistency of that one. Pack comes with a measuring scoop so no weighing out the powder. I use this as a breakfast shake and it keeps me going until my lunch break (about 4 hours). Tried coconut flavour also which was great - will likely stick with this brand as it ticks all the boxes. One downside for me is a bizarre cheesy aftertaste afterwards - slightly unpleasant, however washed down with a glass of water it goes away quickly. It is whey powder after all I guess and for me it's not intolerable.

This is a fantastic protein powder. When opening the bag, there's a coffee fragrance (which I love, depends on personal taste), although there is no taste of coffee in this flavour.It's a unique cookies and cream flavour which I really like - it actually tastes of cookies and cream, whereas with some other brands you can't differentiate the cookies and cream from the white chocolate. This isn't as sweet as some others which again, I prefer.The powder is really fine, as described by others. I've had zero problems mixing this. I use a smoothie maker with frozen fruit and liquid if having cold, or add to oats for overnight oats, or add to refined oats for baked oats - I use a fork when mixing with oats and don't have any problems or lumps. I haven't used it in a shaker with water, it's not how I like to consume protein supplements.I also found the seal of the bag had some powder coating it (probably due to the powder being really fine), but as others have said, I removed this from the seal and the bag seals absolutely fine.Great for the price, the macros are on point with other brands, love the taste and mixes well. I will definitely be reordering, and trying other flavours.

To start off, I got this on sale for about £12.70 / kg, an incredible price in the current protein powder economy so I admit I'm a little biased from getting such a good price.It tastes really nice, a little artificial tasting when having it with water but I have it with unsweetened soy milk and it tastes great that way! more protein as well.It's consistency is nice and creamy, however it does not mix super well from a shaker bottle. But honestly? i like the clumps, and I absolutely do not mind chewing through pudding-like protein goodness before getting to the shake, but it's something to keep in mind if you hate stuff like that, use a blender or hot milk or something.It's packaging has a sealable zip-loc thing but it does not work lol. but once again, £12.70 / kg!!! so I just use a food clip to close it up and it's perfectly sealed up this way.Overall, in spite of the issues, I'm very happy with this product, if you buy a budget product, you have to embrace the issues to enjoy the upsides for a great price. £12.70 per kilo!!!!! buy it when it's on sale but don't buy it when it's not. And enjoy good bargains!! 11/10 personally but 4/5 stars as a product.

This is my first time buying protein powder. The chocolate flavour tastes good to me. Do yourself a favour and buy a small blender or something similar, the powder is reluctant to mix completely by shaking it in a bottle. I think this is the same for many of these protein powders. I have a Hinari Genie which works great, and well worth it if you are going to drink this stuff every day. Sometimes I mix it with milk, sometimes water, or a little of both. Tastes fine to me. A good price if you are trying to increase your daily protein intake.

Tastes great and mixes well. Gives the energy for a good workout and helps with recovery. Only issue is the seal on the packaging. I have to keep closed by rolling and clipping the bag shut. As the plastic grip zip doesn’t work. Fix that flaw and all good.

Arrived today and just tried my first mix. 200ml of semi skimmed with 22g of powder and blitzed in a mixer for 30 seconds. Probably about 97% of the powder mixed with no worries and tasted ok. It’s not as creamy as some but measure this against value for money and I’m sold on this.With due respect to my fellow Boloians, knocking it down for a dodgy sealing tab is a little tight. Wrap the top over and elastic band. Or…. You could spend twice as much and get a similar product in a nice sealable tub. I am definitely switching over to this.Please note, I have no affiliation with this product, manufacturer or supplier. It’s just good honest protein shake and does exactly what it says on the package.
