About this item:
The composition is based on contrasts: sweet and bitter, feminine and masculine. The top notes are aromaticcitrusy and include mandarin, bergamot, basil and aldehydes - A rather strong opening. The heart is feminine floral created of jasmine, floral-spicy carnation, sweet orange blossom and lily. Silky sandalwood in the base is complemented with the sweet and balsamic notes of vanilla, Tonka and musk. This fragrance is recommended for evening wear and special occasions.

I have been looking for this perfume since using the last of mine.... found out it was discontinued and never had the heart to throw the original bottle so hung on to it and now and again would have a sniff.I was so pleased to find this on Bolo but very Skeptical reading the reviews however their were more positive remarks than negative so thought I'd give it a shot and treat myself for Christmas (from the kids)It arrived quickly and it was well packaged. It came in the famous Velvet Red Box and was wrapped in cellophane as this was a Christmas present I didn't want to dive right in so I opened it from the bottom haha!Its packaged exactly like the one I have upstairs, bottle, feel, writing on the box, style etc is exact so makes me think its the real "I am"... plus surely it would of been picked up by Bolo if it was a Copy/Fake I gave 1 spray to my wrists, waited and inhaled and OMG it is just as I remember and smells just like the empty bottle upstairs... I squirt lasted right throughout the day and to be perfectly honest I'm over the moon with my purchase. I don't know what these people are sniffing when they say its not the same? As I have original and this one side by side for comparison 🤔

I bought this a bday gift for my mother who's just gone 82, it is the one & only perfume I have ever worn myself and she's always loved it so,I treat her to it. D & G have discontinued this perfume, Why D & G?. I am gutted but, the perfume came the next day and mum was very happy. Very good service and quick and 1 very happy lady, who could ask for more. I will defo be ordering again hopefully this time for myself..

This is the ORIGINAL D&G RED with the (I always thought a bit cheap looking) gold band below the lid. Don't get fooled by the fairly easy to obtain remanufacture they made at a later date, that's nice, but not close to the same as this.Lets face it this scent is about 30+ years old and it's a miracle when you find someone who still has a few bottles. You don't need a recommendation from me, if you're looking for it, you know what it is already.

Was a bit worried due some reviews saying it was not the real stuff. This was my "first grown up" perferume when I was 18 and have struggled to find it anywhere so was over the moon when seeing it on Bolo.Happy to report its smells just as I remember it and the packaging all looks the same; takes me back to a happier time if only could make me 18 again

This is a classic scent and smells like that old money type of perfume. It's sophisticated as is the appearance of the bottle and packaging. Value for money is decent since it isn't over the top expensive. The only reason I can't give it full stars is that fact that it has one ingredient citrus linalool (sp?) which is known to trigger rhinitis and it did. I spent three days with an itchy sneezy nose that wouldn't stop running. So, I can't use this perfume.

This has been my all time favourite perfume and I was gutted when it was discontinued. I've seen many for sale on this site but have always been dubious about buying due to being discontinued. So pleased I took the risk and bought it! Over the moon as Its exactly the same as I remember. I sprayed a little on my hand when I received it this morning and its now late evening and Its still as strong as ever! For me the best perfume ever, sexy, distinctive and I always receive compliments when wearing it. Seriously thinking about buying another bottle and would definitely recommend this.

El olor es maravilloso
Huele delicioso, un aroma.fresco, seductor y con excelente fijación.
Like a fine wine, it has many layers.
I bought this for my wife solely on my mom's recommendation (yeah, I know. Everyone shaking their head and saying: "Old Lady smell..."), but mom was right. The first time she wore this, I thought: "hmmm, not sure about this..." The second time I thought: "OOOOOoooo, now I get it!" This is definitely not a scent for a girl; this is for a WOMAN. I'm no wine commonsewer, nor a perfume connoisseur either, but I understand that a fine wine has multiple layers, just like this scent. VERY interesting, VERY seductive, but certainly not for everyone. YMMV.
It the the classic brand and it is a beautiful smell.
