The lifetime LED produces up to 800 lumens of effective, efficient light that you can take with you wherever you go, outdoors or indoors. The lanterns are Ipx Certified and therefore protected against Splashing water from all angles. With 3 brightness settings to choose from, you can adjust the lamp to your desired brightness. The battery guard 800L offers a high performance thanks to the powerful LEDs which emits up to 800 lumens of light on the highest mode, illuminating objects at a distance of 15 m (Beam distance on Medium and lowest mode: 6 m). The battery guard technology stops battery drain, so you'll have power when you need it. On a normal battery operated lantern, there is typically some residual drain as long as the batteries are connected to the circuit, even when the light is off. By turning off a battery guard lantern, The batteries are completely disengaged so the lamp retains its brightness twice as long and the batteries last 25% longer. The lamp is a good companion for indoor and outdoor activities, use in the workshop, garage, caravan, boat, car, garden, fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, household, repair work, emergency or power failure. Its a great lantern , battery life seems to go on forever. I use it nearly everyday and hasn't let me down since i bought it. Very bright on high and the light shines in a fairly large area. Just a wonderful piece of kit as ever by Coleman.

A quality product which served us well on a camping trip. It gives quite a lot of light: I found the brightest setting too bright during the night, so I kept it on the lowest brightness for most of the time, but the highest level was useful for illuminating the inside of a shaded tent during the day. I haven't yet had to change the batteries.

Bought 2 of these as wanted some lights for the garden when it gets dark. They are really well made and bright. The adjustment settings come in handy as they can be very bright on the max settings. Its Coleman so pretty much quality. Would recommend

2 year in and we keep n the box, great lantern when we don't have electrical hookup, but switch on top has broken so can't use.

Bought for emergency power cuts. Much brighter than my other older lamp by a different manufacturer.The Light Switch control does work well and this prevents any slow run down on the batteries as when it is off it really is off.Nice to have a torch which takes D cells as I keep a new set in the drawer ready for use.The battery compartment could be more refined but does the job.

Arrived intact and on time
I was concerned that it wasn’t in protective packaging—seller relied primarily on the manufacturer’s box to protect it. Although the box was dented, the lantern was fine and functional. The product was shipped promptly, and I would order from them again. Coleman is a good and reliable brand. I already had this model and ordered this to have a second one for power outages. I could not find it in stores or in-country online, so I was pleased to find it with someone willing to ship it.
