I have had a couple of glass versions break and was after something that will last. This is the ideal upgrade to a glass caffetiere.Size wise it fills two standard mugs so don't be thinking this thing is huge, it isn't.I feel that it is a high quality item, solid and robust that will last a long time and is well worth the money. Easy to take apart to clean and looks smart enough to leave out next to the kettle.The double wall feature isn't exactly insulation but does keep the coffee temperature warm for longer than a glass one, easily enough to finish the first coffee without it being cold.

The actual mesh filter has slightly rounded edges so the fibres won't come loose after washing, like on some cheaper ones. Also makes about 5-6 normal UK mugs worth, which is very handy. Filters very well, built well and looks nice. Also easy to wash.

It is a great cafetiere, compared to my old glass one as this filters much better and you don't end up with the coffee grinds in your cup and the ground coffee i tried in it was (Taylors Christmas Blend).Pros:It's insulated.Double walledCons:there is none, i gave it a 4 star because my coffee bag spoon that accompanied the French press arrived damaged.

I really like this little cafetière as I drink decaffeinated and it’s ideal just for one decent mug of coffee. The cafetière is stylish, easy to clean and came with its own spoon so as you know how much coffee to add. It also clips onto the handle of the pot. I’m well pleased with my purchase.

I'm so happy with this purchase! After my glass cafetiere cracked, I decided to look at something a little more robust. And that led me to consider the stainless steel options over the more typical glass. So pleased I did! Being double walled, it keeps the coffee hotter for longer, but this VonShef 6-cup is also such a nifty, ergonomic design, it feels really lovely to use. The handle is perfect and I also love that the plunger top has an open and closed design, meaning after you've poured, you can twist the opening closed, also helping to keep the coffee hotter for longer. And this is the perfect size for me - gives me two large mugs' worth for starting my day. The only very slight niggle - and this is me being super picky! - is that the metal on metal as you press down the plunger can make your teeth zing a little! But it is very slight and nothing that would put me off using it. I hope its longevity is as good as the initial impressions. It certainly seems incredibly well designed and made, so I have high hopes. Also comes with a stainless steel measuring spoon that doubles as a bag clip. Love, love, love it!

I purchased this as a Xmas present for my husband, who is big into coffee - he loves it, says it helps his coffee brew strong and taste flavourful. It’s easy to clean all components afterwards, was good value for money and looks nice enough to sit on the side. It’s light weight even when full, but looks expensive

Sadly this was scratched and damaged, hence the star rating, but Bolo customer service were great and sorted the issue. It’s a very nice pot and looks good too.
Excellente Cafetière à piston
Une cafetière à avoir à la maison, beaucoup plus efficace que certaines cafetière à capsule, et beaucoup plus économique J’ai vu ça chez une amie je regrette de ne pas avoir connu ça avant quand on regarde le prix des dosettes pour les machinesCelle-ci a pour avantage de garder le café au chaud. La taille est correcte. Et en plus elle est jolie pour ceux qui aiment le café je recommande vivementLa solidité de la cafetière est appréciable. Les matériaux semblent correctes.C’est la première fois que je fais le café. de cette manière, je ne ressens aucune particule de café dans ma tasse ça aussi c’est appréciable.Quant au prix, je trouve qu’il est correct par rapport à d’autres cafetières en verre qui se cassent…j’ai fait le tour au préalable dans les magasins.

Bonne cafetière, et jolie. Garde bien au chaud. Compte tenu de sa fabrication en métal, je redoutais un peu le bruit strident lorsqu'on descend le piston. En fait, il n'en est rien.Je recommande.
