    Bought this for entertainment with my 2 young children - this really would be more appropriate for children of 8+ I feel. There is a booklet to work through with different experiments using things like balloons, and glasses of water to see how water reacts and then blowing bubbles through different shaped implements to see if they come out differently. You get a bottle of bubble mixture included, but one of the activities is putting your hands in and then blowing bubbles through your fingers - the amount of bubble solution for this is inadequate to pour into a bowl that fits your hands in and provide coverage. To get the "sticky" bubbles that are pictured on the box you need to use half a bottle of washing up liquid, to add to the glycerin, along with boiling water and leaving to cool, and then leave for 24hrs - so this activity needs planning in advance and not just something to bring out. Once we made up the solution, I found it really difficult to find a container that fitted in the cube and pyramid to get coverage from all the liquid with room to put hands in too - after all the effort of making up the solution, I couldn't get it to work properly, and it didn't even work to blow normal bubbles as they just popped as soon as you blew them. So overall, I had a pretty disappointing experience with this kit.
