The Wahl PowerPik 2 Afro Hair Dryer features a secure fit pik attachment with long heat resistant teeth that assists in directing airflow from the root of your hair and throughout your entire hair length.
The 3 heat, 2 speed settings ensures versatile styling options. You can finalise and lock in your look with the cool shot.
Fitted with a hanging loop, 3m salon length cable and removable air filter for easy cleaning. Incorporated in the design is a hanging loop for easy and tidy storage.
How to use:
1. Apply heat protection spray to your hair and split into small sections.
2. Set the temperature accordingly. The thicker texture your hair, the higher the heat.
3. Use the Pik attachment to comb out tighter curls OR,
4. Use the nozzle attachment for looser curls / straight hair.
5. Ensure that you blow dry in the direction of the cuticle of the hair to seal and create a sleek finish.
This dryer is designed specifically for afro and textures hair for deep and effective drying.

I was skeptical of buying this due to the reviews of the comb pik falling out. After buying and using, at first the comb pik was wobbly and falling out but i pushed it further down until it stopped and since then, ive had no issues with it falling off being wobbly, just put a lil extra force and push it down more and it stays in place. it works great and it's what i needed as my children have thick 4c hair.

I bought this hair dryer for my wife, and she loved it. She used it on her hair, and it does the job well. It performs exactly as advertised. This dryer is amazing, and in the future, if I want to buy more hair products, I'll definitely choose something like this. If you're considering buying it, go for it you wont regret it. And it's so durable

I've been using Wahl PowerPik models for donkey's years! I absolutely adore the comb attachment, which is a hidden treasure not found in other popular brands. But here's the rub: when you crank up the heat setting to the max, the comb attachment doesn't play ball. It keeps slipping off, and let me tell you, it's a right pain in the neck. It really puts a damper on my experience, and I often have to resort to using a scarf to keep it in place.Other than that snag, the hairdryer is top-notch, and my previous one stuck around for a whopping 9.5 years before I had to get a replacement. Can't complain about that!

I bought this at the beginning of December and straight away is didn't sound right. It kept slowing down while using it. Presevered with it until this week when it was getting worse and worse. Returned as faulty and replaced with exactly the same. New one arrived so plugged it in to try. It didn't even start up but glowed bright red within seconds of switching It on. It was hot to touch the end and smelt of burning immediately...so dangerous that it burned straight away. It didn't cut out or anything, just glowed red hot. How on earth can a brand new dryer pass quality control and do that? So, with the first one lasting less than 2 months and the replacement being dangerously hot, this has to be the worst hairdryer I've ever bought. I won't be buying Wahl every again.

The media could not be loaded. Wow this is a whiny hairdryer. Sounds like a tiny scream when it’s on full power. Too high pitched. But works well so at least I don’t have to use it for long. The pik comb is rubbery where it attaches so it fits well and doesn’t budge, and would easily fit on other hairdryers too.
