They're not wrong about super-strong adhesion. I have a strip stuck to the front of my desk and cannot see it ever unpeeling of its own accord.The magnetism itself could be a little stronger - smallish objects will stick to it fine (e.g. my Leatherman Micra and my Allen keys), heavier ones not so much.That's a minor gripe. It's a decent product overall. Recommend.

I used it on spirit boat levels because the original magnets fell out of the bottom of them so put a strip right across the bottom of the levels and it works brilliantly

This is in no way a strong magnetic strip. The pictures for the advert shows it hold up spanners, paint brushes, scissors but please take note THIS WOULD BEARLY HOLD UP A PAPER CLIP. The paper clip kept slipping of. I've had to bin this because it's not good for anything. I bought it to hold up knives in the kitchen. It would not hold up the knives. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY I promise you, you'll be very sorry and disappointed when you do. I'm truly upset as I can't return this item as I cut it into strips as directed and they won't accept a used item. SHOCKING!!!

Troubled by bugs in summer I wanted to put a screen over the window . Bought one and could not get it to stay ,as the sticky stuff was always peeling off the plastic frames. I got this to sandwich the net between the one on the frame and the other on top. You have to buy 2 rolls an A and B polarity so.they will stay together. It was too late in the year when I bought it but will use it next year. However I thought I would use a little oblong to fix my usb charging hub to the bed end . A piece on the bed ,a piece on the hub the pieces I thought should now stick together. The magnet was not strong enough and the hub kept falling off. Ah well!! The sticky backing proved quite strong when I came to try to remove them.So I think it wi!l work for the light net but don't expect anything with a little weight to stick as the magnets are not strong.

This does exactly what it says. I purchased this to cut up and make a net to place across my balcony. It's very easy to cut up to the size that you need. The magnets are strong and I now have a secure net to stop my cats from jumping over the balcony when they see a bird.To sum up - very magnetic and easy to use. I also purchased the metallic strip from this company to stick the magnets to - also an excellent quality product.Shipping - arrived earlier than expected and was very well packaged.

Good for smaller items like kitchen knives not so much tools
It’s Actually Magnetic!
Took me a long time to find an actual magnet vs being a strip that you can attach magnets to. I wanted to use it to hold my golf ball markers when they’re not in use and be able to display them easily as you’ll see in the photo. The roll was very large and I cut to size, kept the rest in case I need more for later. It was easy to install, you peel the back and stick it to the wall. Great hold strength and the width was just what I needed. Not too thick.
Not for Maglev Project
The magnetic strip is weaker than expected for my maglev project. Also the North and South poles are not well defined
