    I came across this pencil and leads set while looking for my usual brand if lead. This set of pencil and sixty leads was less expensive than 12 leads from my usual brand. I decided to take a bit of a gamble and they this set.I am pleased I did.The pencil feels good and my hand and the pencil clutches tightly to the lead so there is no wobble when you draw, even when applying pressure.If I had a criticism it would be that the pencil is a little lighter than I like but still felt fine to draw.I've not had a lot os time to experiment with the different grades of leads but a quick try of each does show a different weight and blackness so I am pretty happy.Definately a purchase I am pleased with.

    Wasn’t sure what to expect, but nicely surprised, huge amount of lead with it, work easy to use, good, and feels rigid and comfy. The clutch is very sensitive, open and lead drop very quickly.Would happily buy again.

    The pencils are excellent, well made, nice to hold and use, and give the Staedtler 780 a run for the money but the Staedtler has the edge (as they should at several times the price). The leads that came with this set (10 packs of different grades!) are great and come in very nice containers. I can't believe the price and am very pleased with this purchase.

    i have only used the blue and the red so far but i can totally vouch for them, they are coloured, so they obviously dont rub out very well. but they look nice if you get your lines right the first time. the pencils are a little weighty, which is good, i like it. did a few little doodles, no issues.definitely going to be using these a lot.

    Pros:Pencils work ok.Good value with variety of leadsCons:The pencil is about 1cm shorter than my 2mm lead Steadtler pencils. (I should have checked!)The clip is larger than Steadtler and not good for comfort. (I could remove it)The step between plastic barrel and grip is not smooth and not good for comfort!Conclusion:Considering the price and the number of leads it is still a good buy.

    These lead holders are well-made and function as you would expect. They feel solid and comfortable, and the price was amazingly low. Since I am new to lead holders, the variety and amount of extra lead was helpful. I was able to try different options and find what works best for me.I have been surprised and pleased by how nice it is to write and draw with the lead holders. I've been using .5mm mechanical pencils for decades, and I'm sure glad I tried the 2mm lead holders, they work better than the .5mm lead in some cases. I won't need the extra erasers because I use separate Pentel eraser pens, and I won't need the sharpeners because I opted to purchase a Staedtler 502 lead pointer.
