used very recentlyMake sure caps are tight on M/C and on unit.Set to around 1bar does not take too many pumps to get up to pressure - if it does tighten the capsMake sure the cap supplied fits your M/CEnabled me to bleed all the brakes out after fitting new M/C callipers and rear cylinders on my own.Best to put plenty in the reservoir tank to ensure continuous operation whilst bleeding the system out.worth the money and well made in my opinion for single workshop bleeding - also the recetical for the fluid at the nipple is also good.

I've had to unfortunately use this more than once, it worked great.I've even taken it to its maximum pressure without any issues .Quality is ok, the nipple bleed bottle needs a fine hole drilling in top of the cap so the fluid can flow.That's not a problem 👌 I think it's a good all round alternative to a easy brake bleed.Do read the instructions .

I was sceptical about buying this due to the reviews, but it worked perfectly, slight air leak when pressed up but that was due to me not using the spanner to tighten up the bottle caps tight.All 4 corners bleed in about 10 minutes.For the price I'd say it's a bargain

I bought two of these. I managed to crack the filler lid on the first one by overtightening it, making it unusable (no longer air tight). Didn't seem like I applied much torque but the hard black plastic on the lid split. On the second item I decided only to use the unit as a pressure pump and run it dry so that I wouldn't run the risk of splitting the screw cap again. This worked fine, only downside being that it took longer: after bleeding the calliper on each corner I had to depressurise the unit, unscrew the master cap, top up the fluid reservoir, then repressurise; while being careful never to let the fluid reservoir get below the minimum. All because I didn't trust the build quality of the item.

Easy way to flush or bleed your brakes soloMy car was due a 2 year brake fluid flush as per recommendations …(VW id4 GTX)I was unsure of pressure to use so stayed under 20psi to be on safe side halfway up the blue scale on the gauge.I put 3 litres on new clean dot 4 from sealed containers in the device.Fitted the adapted filler cap on the car and tightened it up tightly with the little plastic wrench.Pumped up the hand pump to 20 psistarting on the rear left wheel fitted the drain bottle to the bleed nipple and released the nipple 1/2 turn I kept the drain bottle lid lightly screwed to allow any air to release as it filled up, when it was half full I closed the bleed nipple.I repeated this on the other 3 wheelsin this order rear right , front left & front right.The first bottle of used fluid was darker brown but after that the fluid seemed pretty clean.Pumped the brake pedal to speed things up and kept giving the pump a few strokes to keep the pressure @ 20psi and at the end released its pressure with the release valve and mopped up any over spill with a clean rag and replaced the original VW filler cap.overall a great idea makes the job possible solo

I asked a question about this asking if it fitted the Transit Custom MK8 and the answers were split between yes and no, well I can categorically confirm that it does fit and makes the brake bleeding process a doddle.

Boxster friendly
Bought to bleed clutch for 2002 Porsche Boxster, worked perfectly. Mine came with a clear drain hose as opposed to some here, so maybe they are listening to comments. Also, it was better quality than I expected after reading the comments. Had no issues except it also had plastic shavings in the bottom of the main tank from the factory. Be sure to rinse it out and let it dry overnight before using.Bled the system perfectly,
