5.0 out of 5 stars Tack sharp, fast AF, and cheaper than the GM

It seems expensive, but coming from the 28-70mm kit lens the difference is night and day.The Sigma is razor sharp even wide open and gives a lovely image in camera. The constant 2.8 aperture is lovely, and some nice bokeh at all focal lengths. It is a heavy lens, so have that in mind if you intend on sticking it on a gimbal. It’s not impossible, but changing the focal length extends the barrel and will throw off your balancing. All around great lens. I don’t regret not getting the GM even a little bit. Well worth it.An additional note: I bought this Used. The description was Like New, and I’m fairly sure it actually is brand new just with some damage to the box. Great bargain, so keep and eye out for the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best value 24-70 with a constant f2.8 aperture for Sony E-Mount

This is a proper workhorse lens. The 24-70 focal range is perfect for a lot of subjects: portraits, landscapes, cars, street photography, etc.The constant f2.8 aperture is nice, especially if you need it in low light and you don't have a prime with you. It's hardly left my A7R ii since I bought it.

Super crisp Sigma 24-70 f2.8 dg dn Art lens. Good price and I can confirm that Sigma will honour the 3 year extended warranty. Took me a while to figure out that the 6 digits on the end of the barcode needed for registration had been covered with another sticker, presumably from the seller (Bolo), but I could just read it through the paper.

I purchased this from Bolo warehouse. Practically came brand new. Did not look used at all. This lens is absolutely amazing. Paid with Sony A7iii it is outstanding for video and photography. Ability to capture so much with ansingle lens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still top quality in late 2022

    I. · 5 December 2022

Exceptional quality for its price point. No need for a lengthy review here, its all been said and well documented. For someone wondering if it still represents top quality in late 2023, I say 'yes' don't hesitate buy it!

Very close to G Master at a fraction of the cost.

It's sharp, great bokeh, fast to focus. It renders colours superbly. It has a very good range and the build quality is every bit as good as G Master. The only (slight) downside is that this, like all Sigma lenses, are built like tanks, this means that it's a little heavy. But I really can't recommend this enough, it's a stellar lens at a superb price.

    Uno de los mejores lentes

    J.H. · 19 December 2023

Essential Zoom, very nice build, great optical quality.

In my opinion, the 24-70 2.8 zoom is the first high quality zoom that anyone should get for the camera.I moved from a Canon dslr to Sony mirrorless 9 years ago. I still kept my superb Canon EF 24-70 2.8 II lens and adapted to Sony A7R series, without any major issues on autofocus ability.Recently I have been shooting video along with my photography and realized that an adapted lens doesn’t do as well autofocusing in video. The Sigma seemed to be the first choice with price to performance being very good.I was really surprised at how good this lens was for both photography as well as video. The focusing was excellent on both video as well as still photography. This lens is actually made in Japan, which is a rarity nowadays. The colors are beautiful and the sharpness is excellent. It is also priced reasonably.I wish the rebate was in effect when I purchased it, but am happy for everyone that purchases it now with the $100 off.Highly recommended.

O produto é muito bom, recebendo vários elogios de profissionais de fotografia
