  • Haakaa silicone nipple shield is soft and skin-friendly, made of food-grade silicone. It is BPA, PVC, and Phthalate-free.
  • Pour a few drops of breast milk into the nipple shield. Squeeze the chamber, fold back the base of the nipple shield, and center it over the nipple. As your baby feeds, your milk will flow continuously into the extended teat.
  • Wash before and after each use. We recommend to hand washing in warm soapy water and rinsing and dying thoroughly. To sterilize, use a steam sterilizer or boil in water for 2-3 minutes.

    This works so well for my baby and was on the verge of really saving my breastfeeding journey. However after I realised the first one I bought had a split in the front I figured it was just a one off fault and so bought another one. After my baby using it for 2 days it had the same split in the front! My baby has just turned 3 weeks old so really isn’t big enough to make any damage. It’s a real shame as now I worry my baby is getting air in while feeding so worried I have to find an alternative product!

    Just not feasible at all. It's enormous and would be impossible for the baby to feed from. Waste of money

    I had twins recently at 34 weeks. One breastfeeds like a champ, but the other I struggled with because she had trouble opening her mouth all the way. I tried normal nipple shields, but they were too big for her little mouth.I thought I was gonna have to bottlefeed one twin and breastfeed the other.Then I came across this and it works perfectly! It fits in her mouth, it has a strong suction so she's not pulling it off, and it gets a lot of milk out of my breasts.The NICU and lactation consultant were so impressed. They'd never seen a nipple shield like this one before. So, I bought an extra one that they could use as a sample for other moms with the same issue as me.Highly recommend!

    Does not help with latch difficulties

    As a first-time mom, I need a shield to help with the latching. The haakaa nipple shield does not work. The material is thick and does stick while using, the shape is weird (it does not resemble a nipple) and the dumps are not necessary or maybe I just don't know what they are for. I tried it multiple times and just decided to purchase another brand.

    I should’ve watched the video before purchasing, but it’s kind of a pain to have to wait for the thing to fill with milk before the baby can drink from it. My baby doesn’t latch well enough to be able to pull milk through my own nipple, never mind through a whole extra layer! Didn’t work very well for me, but that’s not on the distributors. Like I said, I should’ve done more research to make sure I was ordering something that would match my needs.

    Because I couldn't feed my baby, I was depressed and cried. I felt that I was not a qualified mother. I bought many bottles and changed many brands, but none of them suited me. I also visited many lactation experts, and they told me that I could only wait for my baby to grow. The baby needs to be opened to feed the baby. Now I can only suck it out and put it in a bottle for feeding. Until today I received this nipple. I can finally let the baby drink fresh breast milk. I no longer need to suck it out with a machine or reheat it. , thank you for agreeing to represent this product.

    Soooo this is not for little bitty babies or mamas that don’t have a great supply. You have to completely fill this giant nipple before baby can attempt to nurse, otherwise it’s a giant thing of air they’re sucking in.. it was sturdy and suctioned decently to me but it’s just large and strange. Was hoping this would be a great solution to my nursing issues (low supply, flat nipples) but sadly not
