Read the instructions
Work great if you are able to read and follow instructions. If you're unsure if they'll adhere to whatever you're laying them down on, just sand the crap out of it and put down a coat of any primer (doesn't have to be the stuff they try to sell you). Cheap and easy way to refresh a small room, but i wouldn't recommend for a large room.
Beau, mais ne colle pas!
Merci!
Adhesion could be better
It would be nice if the adhesive was a little better. I have an uneven floor so need good adhesion (the old self stick tiles had better adhesive) but since we will be redoing the entire kitchen once the pandemic is over these are a temporary fix. If your floor is flat this will not be a problem for you.
Fun and versatile
These are great. I originally got them as an easy to clean alternative to newspapers / shelf lining under the sink where the garbage cans are, an area that can get dirty in a hurry. Ended up putting these tiles on the bottom of all my kitchen cabinets that store heavy pots and pans, because they are durable and stain resistant, and nice looking as well . The pattern has been described as "retro" but I think they're fine for contemporary uses. I like them enough that I am considering putting them in a few other places as well.
Big storage room turned small office
After reading the directions and watching a few DIY videos I installed the floors of the large storage room turned small office. Went down pretty easy, had to use a little brain power but too much brain power. I think it's a good idea to lay the tiles out before you start sticking them, made it easier to decide where to start. Good luck.
