5.0 out of 5 stars Fresh and healthy teeth

I'm in the early days of using this product, but so far I like it. It's mild in taste compared to the 'regular' toothpaste I've used. It also doesn't froth up. It feels more like I'm oil pulling or using some sort of mouthwash. It's different, but in a good way. It definitely leaves me feeling like my teeth are very clean and fresh. Before using this toothpaste, I had some sensitivity in a couple of teeth, and after a week of use, that sensitivity has completely gone, so it's definitely doing something. If you have sensitive teeth or are concerned about flouride, this is a product worth paying the premium for. They say that most of our health issues start in the mouth, so it's worth spending the money to protect it as a first line of defence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lemon Lavender Subtle Taste, Improving gums Teeth sensitivity

    m. · 20 June 2024

Super happy with this toothpaste so far. I am on a mission to heal my teeth/ gums: realising i have some gum recession/ weakness thinness at end of top front teeth. Happy that the taste is subtle, natural, mostly lemony and always look for a non-mint taste toothpaste. I'm combining using this toothpaste with also 1) an upgrade in my toothbrush (I now have an Oral B battery operated Toothbrush - the head is soft/med and the pulse on my gums is feeling helpful) - this battery brush is a significant upgrade to the one i was using from Boots which didn't give a pulse on/ massage to the gums and head had less contact with tooth/ was harder 2) a morning and evening practice of Oil Pulling with coconut oil and 1x drop of grapefruit essential oil organic. 3) a mouth rinse either homemade with pink salt/ celtic salt/ bicarb soda OR the Saraken/ Aloe mouth rinse. I've been with this routine for around 3 weeks now and already gums are much pinker, not bleeding (I feel this is mostly the oil pulling which i do for 10 - 20 mins 2x a day). And, i'm able to massage the gums with this new brush/ this toothpaste without any bleeding/ sensitivity. My teeth a feeling less sensitive and stronger. I'm also seeing the dentist/ hygienist to explore possible more 'cosmetic' composite filling for the teeth with exposed roots - possible invisalign treatment to make brushing easier (teeth a crowding together at the bottom - as they did when i had braces as a young girl/ woman). Toothpaste is pricey - the most i've spent on a toothpaste! - and so maybe i will combine this with making-up a toothpaste myself e.g. coconut oil/ bicarb soda sometimes or other toothpaste. And, do feel money well spent at the moment. Thank you to other reviews - the reviews re: the subtle taste and less tooth sensitivity helped me decide to buy. Only problem is it does taste so good need to make sure don't over brush my teeth!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, just very pricey

Good toothpaste, the ingredients are excellent. I actually got some pure powder of the tooth remineralising stuff to rub into my teeth as well, which has definitely helped decrease my tooth pain significantly, so that’s something to try. The amount of the ingredient in this toothpaste isn’t that high, but nevertheless it’s a pleasant toothpaste with a good taste that does the job. I just wish it wasn’t quite so expensive. Now that I have the powder, I’ll just use that instead along with euthymol which is another great toothpaste but far cheaper (which also doesn’t have flouride). If you have teeth problems make sure you get enough sunlight on your skin, vitamin D is essential for good teeth. (Actual sunlight, not synthetic vitamin D).

I do like the mint taste. It’s just right. Pricey but worth to try. I will buy again.

Teeth feel clean, fluoride free 👌🏽Actually whitens my teeth

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but small amount

    d. · 25 September 2024

In my opinion for the price, the amount you actually get in the tube is quite stingy. As for if it actually works on teeth, I’d say yes but you have to stick to it, and maybe use your normal toothpaste beforehand and then use this afterwards without completing rinsing your teeth out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive non minty toothpaste for those avoiding fluoride

    B.O. · 21 February 2023

You’re probably here because you’ve done your research and/ or seen a functional dentist or two posting about Nano-Hydroxyapitite as a way to re-mineralise your teeth (not snoring will also help that, but that probably also means taping your mouth shut when you’re asleep) and avoid just filling in the gaps with (what is slowly being more widely though to be toxic) fluoride.Taste - Mellow cinnamon flavourAgain if you’ve done your re-search there are plenty of ways to avoid bad breath (see comment above about taping your mouth shut, or get a tongue scraper etc) rather than having to have strong minty toothpaste, so the taste is more for you than someone else’s nose.Teeth feel clean after use, and the sensitive area I had has seemingly disappeared. It’s expensive compared to regular toothpaste, and as yet the regulation of nano particles (how big they are/ how much there is/ are they harmful) is currently lacking, so it could be a case of “frying pan and fire”.However, at present I am happy with my purchase and believe from the research I’ve done this is both better for my teeth and body than the fluoride toothpaste it replaced. The fact that the water in the UK in fluoride treated does however seem to make this a rather moot pointEdit: from further research, it looks like the formulation of Nano-Hydroxyapitite is from Portugal, and is the only lab, which is currently tested to provide the correct size nano particle, which has been found to be effective in scientific literature. It is a shame that I cannot buy this flavour at the moment, so I will try the mint instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars time will tell

    C.P. · 14 September 2024

It's too early to review but the Nano Hydroyaxpatite ingredient is supposed to give you stronger enamel and teeth than Fluoride toothpaste. It certainly nice to use but time will tell if it does the job advertised.

    Tastes great and effective

    Z.G. · 22 October 2024

This toothpaste is absolutely excellent. Ive never tried a non fluoride toothpaste before but switched the entire family over once we tried this one. It is safe, tastes like spearmint and my teeth are noticeably whiter. My teeth feel clean afterwards and I know I'm doing something good for my enamel. I haven't had any sensitivity and the texture is similar if not less gritty than our previous arm and hammer whitening toothpaste we were using, but tastes much much better. It is pricey for the size but it's an expense I'm willing to spend on.

    Se siente muy bien

I decided to try Boka Fluoride-Free Toothpaste after seeing a dentist recommend it in a video, especially since I had some mild concerns about using fluoride toothpaste. I was drawn to the fact that it uses nano-hydroxyapatite, which is a more natural alternative for remineralizing teeth. After using it for a while, I’ve noticed my teeth appear whiter, which I never really experienced with other brands unless I used additional whitening strips or products. It’s refreshing to see results just from a toothpaste! One of the things I appreciate most about this toothpaste is how little you need to use. Just a small dab goes a long way, making it last much longer than I anticipated. This makes the higher price point easier to justify, especially considering how effective it has been. The Ela Mint flavor is subtle and pleasant, which adds to the overall positive experience of using this toothpaste.I was so impressed that I stocked up during a sale and now have a nice supply of Boka toothpaste on hand. While the price might be a concern for some, I truly believe it’s worth it for the results and longevity. It’s a relief to find a product that not only aligns with my health preferences but also delivers noticeable benefits. This toothpaste has become a staple in my oral care routine, and I’m happy knowing I’m using a product that I trust.
