5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! I was very impressed!
I bought these to use in our motorhome. We have external silver screens but when we don’t use them and just use the internal blinds we usually have to deal with quite a bit of condensation on the inside of the windscreen. I thought I’d give these a go and they are brilliant. No condensation at all. I’ve bought another couple for the longer trips and when I can’t dry them out quickly enough. Highly recommended product and delivery.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really good at absorbing
I use just one of these in my vehicle to stop the inside condensation and they work really well. I have uploaded a photo taken of the pad with a 20 pence coin placed on top to show scale, they're not small and worth the money in my opinion. 5*
4.0 out of 5 stars Have used to stop wardrobe clothes going damp.
Worked really well. Wished weighed before use and recorded weight - useful to tell when fully redried (indicator is approximate) . Rate value good so far.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly works...
I bought a 2017 CH-R hybrid october 2023. Just as the weather started to turn cold. Finishing work late 10pm, 11pm and so on. I found on a number of nights I had condensation on the inside of my wind screen. This varied from bad to extremely bad. The worst was when the entire inside screen was covered with water that ran down the screen, even after wiping the screen with my woolly sleeve I found the screen still saturated, it took over 15 minutes to dry to a point where it no longer after to vision at eye line. I was that bad I thought there was a major fault with the car.Desperate I watched YouTube for a solution, and they recommended these types of Dehumidifier Bag.So I bought a double pack. These things are huge, about 8 inches by 5 ( sizes just a guess as I write).chucked them in my car. 1st few days on the dash, then after a week moved the to one under each front seat.I bought mine 13/12/23, started using them 14th. I can honestly say from day one, yes day one.... I have not had any condensation, I will repeat that. I have NOT HAD ANY CONDENSATION whatever....Cant believe how good the are.give them a try, if they dont work keep the packaging and send them back.... but based on my experience they will work.ps you can dry them out with a quick microwave and start again. not down this yet as mine a still blue (go pink when damp)
3.0 out of 5 stars Useful but not a magic cure
A problem I found (and why I reduced the stars) is that I kept finding these tiny clear beads (see picture) in the kitchen, particularly near the microwave. I think I ate one that fell in some food because I crunched on it. It turns out the stitching had come apart in the corner of one of the pouches. It seems like it's quite likely to happen based on the product design and low quality stitching.Besides that issue, my review of the product itself follows.I found that they do reduce the amount of condensation on the windscreens but not able to completely eliminate it. It depends on how humid it is. Living in the North West, it's often 95% humidity or above all winter.Without using these, I have enough condensation inside the car to half fill a bucket (after wiping off and wringing out). When I use this product, there is less, or none at all, or in some cases it might just keep it clear directly next to the product whereas further away it might have less but still some condensation. They need to be reset quite often, every couple of days. The blue/pink indicator isn't particularly good, unless you have a reference to compare it to. Most of the time they still look blue, but may be more whitish blue so it's hard to tell. If they're in that state then they won't be doing much. It's most obvious that they are full by feeling the weight. After microwaving, it takes 45-60 minutes before they're ready to use because all the moisture in them steams off slowly (so best left outside or near a window). If you put it immediately in your car then your car will fill with steam. After microwaving is also the only time I've seen the indicator actually turn pink - from all the steam leaving.I find them useful to have near windows inside the house as well, or near drying clothes. They do absorb a lot of water. But they basically need to be reset before every use because even from just sitting in a house they'll absorb a lot of water and become useless. If you put it next to the windscreen in such a state then it has the opposite effect - the moisture will leave it and deposit onto the windscreen.
5.0 out of 5 stars For bad condensation in your car
I didn't expect this to work. Last year I had terrible condensation in my car but as soon as I put these on the dashboard - all the condensation disappeared ! I highly recommend
5.0 out of 5 stars excellent
This little bag has solved the problem of the excessive moisture in my car :) Impressed as most are not as good as this
4.0 out of 5 stars One works, the other doesn’t
They both absorbed excess moisture from my windscreen. I followed the instructions when the dot turned pink, and one recharged and still works. The other one doesn’t. It’s sat on a heater, been microwaved several times and been out in the blazing sun. The dot is still pink. Very disappointed as they did absorb well, but reliability is poor.
