5.0 out of 5 stars pricey granted, but as a stereo pair these sound magnificent
pricey granted, but as a stereo pair these sound magnificent, to get such rich quality sound you can pay much more than what these cost, as a single speaker its great to plonk one in almost any room in the house, most people wont even know its a speaker, looking more like a a piece of furniture or even a fancy lamp, you have a collection of buttons on the top, they are touch sensitive, if you dont want to get up the app is simple to use, the built in B&O radio stations are great, wifi/bluetooth/wired connections are available, a few features to mention :- beam control, this is where you can change the direction of the audio from the speaker, handy if its not in a great position you can 'aim' the sound (to the left, center, right or all around) - moods/eq: you can set the tone to meet your needs, vocal/party/ect. - room calibration:- if you want your speakers to sound good you can either spend a small forune on tuning your room to deaden reflections, and positioning your speakers perfectly, or buy these speakers that do it for you, they use the back/side facing speakers to cancel out unwanted sound waves created by your room, the best feature by far is buying 2 and setting up as a stereo pair, they can wirelessly replace your old hifi/amp/radio/speakers and the bass is so good you will not need a sub woofer, i connect mine mainly to the pc, but they can pair with my phone, tv, tablet ect. some people have mentioned issues with bluetooth connectivity, i have at least 8 bluetooth things in the same room and it works fine, if you are thinking about getting these speakers go for it, if you are unsure, find a shop that stocks them and have a listen first
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing sound and incredible clarity. Stereo mode with 2 speakers a little unreliable
Setup could have been easier
4.0 out of 5 stars *** stars
Good quality but a few niggles.Hard to pair using wifi had to connect them with ethernet cable to get Good results. For wireless speakers not that good cause there's two cables connected to each speaker (power and ethernet cable) the whole purpose for wireless speakers is to cut cables.Sound quality greatPricey but it is B&O
5.0 out of 5 stars Great speaker
Very pleased with this product. Great sound and set up in the lounge with beolink to 2 emerge speakers that are stereo paired.Very happy with the overall sound.
2.0 out of 5 stars Over priced.
Great speaker to listen to at low volumes but anything past 50% is all treble and no bass! (Even played around with all the setting) Not worth the money at all and returned to buy another product! I’m a massive B&O Fan and was like a little kid waiting for this to arrive, I had high expectations after reading everyone’s reviews and watching every video out onit but it didn’t seem to be true when I got mine,
Laufend Probleme mit der Verbindung...
Laufend Probleme mit der Verbindung vielleicht ist der Klang gut... wenn man sich aber nicht mal vernünftig und konstant verbinden kann, nutzt der tolle Klang nichts!

Gets the Thumbs Up from my Audiophile Buddy
I think the big question everyone would ask before ordering something like this would be whether it's worth the 2k sticker price. The short answer, is that it's worth it. The sound quality is impeccable. Very crisp, nuanced highs. And surprisingly warm lows. I appreciate the minimalist, modern look to it. On your bookshelf, some people may not even assume that it's a speaker at first. What's really fascinating about the speaker is its ability to adjust the sound based on placement. I was able to unpack it, power it on. I downloaded the app, and was easily able to connect to it through Bluetooth. Where the magic comes in, is that the speaker uses its own microphones to determine where its located in the room (near the wall, or surrounded by nothing). And it adjusts the sound accordingly. Something that none of my Bose products could do.Speaking of Bose, I'm not exactly a stranger to high-end home audio. But I wouldn't exactly consider myself a true audiophile. That's a label I would designate for one of my buddies that happens to be a sound engineer in the music industry. He let me know that Bang & Olufsen had been in the business for about a century. Which wasn't that surprising, considering the quality of the Beosound Balance. But after getting it a spin with a variety of music types, he was thoroughly impressed. He felt that the price tag was justified, his only disappointment was that it would be splurging for him to buy three at once (he likes having everything on the same Google Home setup).Yes, the price is high. But then as with many things in life, you get what you pay for. When you add a Beosound Balance to your home, you're getting a Bugatti, not a Chevy Spark. If quality is what you deserve, then it's certainly worth it. I find it a little questionable that the only negative review for this speaker is by a brand new account with only a single product review, and it seems like user error on top of that. But don't just take my word for it. Order one for yourself, try it out at home. Conveniently if it's not everything you expected, you can simply return it. But you won't know until you actually get it in your home, so give it a shot.
sounds terrific
I'm not a real audiophile but I do play instruments and have some ability to appreciate many different styles of music. I've never owned a speaker system this high end and the speaker system I've mostly been using is not even close to being comparable. The phone app you use to control the speaker has some interesting adjustments for making the sound fill your space in different ways. I think if you have it up against a wall or corner it fires the back speakers in a slightly delayed manner so the sound bounces off the wall and the overall effect sort of mimics the soundstage effect you get with stereo speaker setups. The effect is not as convincing as separated speakers and depending on the recording some recordings sound more separated than others. Overall though, the imaging sounds pretty good for a single speaker. The app only has bass and treble adjustments which I find woefully inadequate. This is a high fidelity unit and you can really hear subtle sounds especially in well recorded orchestral music. Running the sound through a graphic equalizer yields far more control over which sounds you want to be prominent. I notice with some popular music that studio compression becomes really obvious with this speaker - I guess I'm hearing the way the recording was mastered more because the speaker really captures everything that's there. Music that sounds shrill or harsh or fizzy to my ear without eq-ing the offending frequencies sounds so much better on this unit. I don't even listen to music loud at all due to some minor hearing damage that makes loud sounds irritating. The sound is excellent. The craftsmanship seems to be flawless. It heats up in the middle section due to an amplifier in there which shouldn't surprise me but I've never noticed a wireless speaker getting warm before. Is it worth the investment? Dunno. Maybe if you listen to more refined music like classical and want something like this for aesthetic reasons it would be a good choice. If you're not listening to music mixed and mastered for high fidelity listening it might be overkill.
AMAZING sound even after 3 years of ownership!!
We have had this spectacular speaker for over 3 years, use it daily, and it still produces amazing sound!!! The music played through this sounds full and rich. It has such a simple and elegant design I don’t mind having it on a shelf at all. It connects easily to any Bluetooth device and sounds just as good quietly as it does absolutely rocking! Treat yourself to this wonderful speaker!
