Really pleased with this Mokka pot. It works perfectly on an induction hob. A really well made, quality item which makes great coffee and is easy to clean - it doesn't even need detergent. Will not be going back to those awful plastic pods.

Picked this up as it just looked very attractive & artistically designed, much prettier than the usual hexagonal cast alloy versions.Turned out to be an excellent choice, very easy to use, easy to clean & makes excellent coffee.Seems very well made & durable, I expect it will outlast me. Spares such as seals are also available from the manufacturer so maintenance if needed can be done, very welcome in this throw away world.The 4 cup size refers to 4 tiny espresso cups, it actually makes one English cup of coffee, just right for me but if you want coffee for two in full size cups you might need the 8 cup version.Overall I am delighted with it & would recommend it to anyone who wants a Moka coffee maker.Tip: Use filtered water to prevent lime scale buildup.

So glad I got this. I had been using an old aluminium one with a steel plate on my induction job but that wasn’t very efficient. This new induction one looks good and is solid enough, I had my concerns about the fairly flimsy look of the lid, with no plastic or other non-metal material covering the thumb-lift/trigger part of the lid near the handle, and doesn’t have the robust hinge of the classic aluminium ones. But actually the design of this one just makes it simpler and easier to clean. It would be helpful if the item came with a spare silicone gasket but that’s maybe just me always wanting to have a spare. The main thing is it does the job of making coffee very well. I have the 4-cup and I’m now going to buy a larger one.

I was looking to replace my old Bialetti which was the classic Aluminium one that goes on a gas stove. However, I have an electric hob and was really in need of a Moka coffee maker that works on it. Plus, my old Bialetti had stains on the inside of the base and didn't really like that.This one does the job just as well and it looks more stylish. I also learnt that you're not supposed to use soap on it (my bad on the previous one) and that it's best to wash it by hand. It is also made of stainless steel which is definitely a plus I know aluminium is a no no (it might have just an element made of aluminium, but not 100% sure). It makes 3 decent cups of espresso (they say 4, but probably I didn't fill it to the top). So all in all I am happy with the purchase.

I bought this two years ago and loved it (untill I gave it to a friend in feb23 in Greece) but the second one I bought to replace it didn't brew the coffee properly, as seemed it would only brew half the water. Returned item which maybe was a faulty due to pressure system but working correctly. Prob just a one off fault.When it worked, it's a beautiful looking coffee pot and easy to clean. I don't understand the Teflon coated water holder (bottom part) and this is stoping me from ordering another new one. Why they don't leave it stainless steel is unknown. Might try the aluminium one going forward until they change this. Worth considering before buying but other than that fab product and great coffee

Elegant, shiny, and does the job. I love it.I use a poking device to prise the washer out when I want to clean it. This is as it should be: the fit needs to be tight for the pot to work well.

I already have a 6 cup Moka Express which I love. It makes 3 good sized cups of coffee but sometimes I don’t want to drink that much.This said 4 cups (Italian espresso cups are tiny) and I wanted a steel one so I opted for this.It makes a fantastic coffee, two decent sized cups. It also pours well without having a prominent spout.The only slight criticism is that the moka pot narrows towards the top. This makes it a little awkward to clean and I have quite small hands. I’m looking for something that will get into the top chamber to clean it that won’t scratch the inside.The Moka Express has a line on the inside to indicate the maximum water level, this doesn’t, so you have to fill it to the bottom of the safety valve.
very sharp edge
I purchased this product expecting higher quality, but unfortunately, the design poses a safety hazard. The top part of the pot, including the lid, has extremely sharp edges, which led to me accidentally cutting my finger. I am quite disappointed, as I had assumed that a reputable brand would prioritise safety in its design.
