    Ditch the mouse!

    It took about a day to adjust to how this works but I will not go back to a standard mouse. So much more fluid and flexible to operate and easier on the posture and hands. I love love the one click copy and paste buttons! Time savers! I find working on this so much easier with both hands rather than one switching between the keyboard and mouse. The low profile and built in wrist rest also helps with mobility. It’s like using a track pad but without the limited space. There’s a more expensive version out there with programmable buttons, but I just needed a plug n play and this is perfect and much less expensive.

    Switched things up, came from a few "vertical mice" (extra angled for less wrist pronation etc.), looking for wrist, forearm and shoulder pain reduction.I use this on a Mac and Windows laptop. Handy cable management beneath mouse allows for left or right cable drops. Cable is plenty long (did not measure, but reaches under and up a standing desk to monitor mount).Bit of a lint attractor, as are all black smooth accessories - nothing a Swiffer duster can't beat.Love that I no longer have to move my injured shoulder. I use a Kinesis Freestyle 2 keyboard (tented with wrist tests), and this still fits in front. To use the mouse, I lean back less than an inch, and my hands can fall from keyboard to mouse. I also have a Magic Trackpad for additional gestures, in between the tented keyboard and above the mouse. This has made for an ergonomic heaven of productivity, and is allowing my shoulder to heal as well.Primary use is within browser, text and doc editing, minor image editing, and it does all nearly flawlessly. WFH winner.Noteworthy (just nitpicking really):- learning curve, as to be expected - I cold turkey'd it and got close to my usual speeds within 2 work days.- slightly more audible "click" than I prefer when using the actual rollerbar to click (instead of the dedicated mouse buttons), but no room for foam etc as it's super compact as is.- it can be difficult to click with fine motions if clicking with the roller bar, rather than the buttons. Due to the slight force required, it can cause the mouse to move a few mm as others have noted. Not a deal breaker, resolved with slight habit changes and lowering mouse sensitivity by 10 or 20 percent in OS settings.- I do wish the physical mouse buttons were textured - I find myself having to look at the buttons to make sure I'm on the right one, but this should also fade with experience.- mouse wheel would feel more premium if it was textured, or "clicky when rolled", whatever that term is.Overall, this is a great alternative to the higher priced competition (Contour), and Fergo's customer service is also quick to respond to any questions.

    It looks nice and elegant but it's very sensitive, then I had to work harder to control it which doesn't serve the purpose of having it. Also, the rolling bar is a loose item without being attached to the product, it falls out easily when I move it around. I had sent an inquiry to the vendor however have never been replied. Then I decided to return it. I have a Contour RollerMouseFree3 at work, it's not too sensitive, not too insensitive, it's just right and comfortable. Also, the rolling bar is attached to the product, it doesn't fall out. In between, I like Contour product better.

    I can switch between left-handed and right-handed mousing and changing back and forth didn't aliviate hand pain. This has been a great addition for me. I use this for clicking and scrolling. I still use a mouse for precise movement. The roller bar works great for precision but using the mouse feels more natural for me

    It has relieved my wrist pain.
