Cast your mind back to 2014, Japan landed a space probe on a Comet, Germany handed Brazil a 7-1 drubbing at the world cup and Bulk had just launched our first iteration of complete protein coffee. This was the UK market's first experience of a protein coffee that didn't require endless mixing, microwaving, further mixing and overall feelings of disappointment. When we originally brought this product to market, It was made with a heat-stable whey protein isolate that mixed instantly with hot water, which sadly got discontinued after a couple of years. We tried every single heat-stable whey protein that suppliers could throw at us, but sadly to no Avail, complete protein coffee was no more. Fast forward to 2019 and for better or for worse, a lot has happened. One thing falling in the 'better' Category is collagen coffee becoming the latest offering in our active foods range. It is made simply with hydrolysed collagen peptides, Colombian Fairtrade coffee and MCTs. On the surface it may just appear to be another protein coffee, however the beauty comes with how it mixes and tastes. All you need to do is add one 25g scoop to your favourite mug, Pour over hot water from your kettle and let the powder dissolve. You'll have a ready-to-drink protein coffee in seconds that provides 18g protein and 100mg caffeine, about the same as a regular high street coffee for a fraction of the price. The hydrolysed collagen peptides in collagen coffee are composed of type 1 and type 3 collagen and are obtained from bovine hides. Our collagen has a particularly neutral flavour, making it suitable for use in this application. Collagen has a different amino acid profile to dairy proteins; instead of Tryptophan and cysteine, it provides Hydroxyproline and hydrolysate.

This stuff, holy smokes. As a gym girlie and wellness queen I found this and thought wow it’s too good to be true. I mean collagen and 19g protein in my morning brew, I had to try. The reviews were mixed on taste but relatively positive so I got the caramel latte flavour. Needless to say I am hooked, if you gave this to me blindfolded I would be convinced it was a Costa caramel latte. Not even a tiny little hint of that chalky protein taste you always seem to get with these things. Only thing I would say is you do not need any sweeteners with this flavour, it is very sweet and does not need it. Anyway I am one happy gal, buying 10 more of these asap!

I was a bit wary to buy based on other reviews but this is my 3rd purchase. I personally love this coffee but I think it may be an acquired taste for some. To start I could taste the difference but now I like it just as much as my regular coffee and can’t tell the difference. This is great when you are low on protein but need to keep calories low. Being a hot drink is nice, if you like coffee it’s comforting and helps to hit protein whilst not increasing calories too much.Ok it’s not cheap but I have 1 a day and it does me nearly a month I think.

The coffee is good in terms it is strong, has protein and collagen but the taste is really revolting. It gives you an after taste like you had coffee with some raw beef. I know it has bovine collagen, that's why. I am adding this to my other chocolate protein shake and can drink like that together.

I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate more protein into my breakfasts (beyond eating more or having a protein shake) and this is the perfect solution. This turns my daily coffee habit into something more beneficial.The taste of it as just plain black coffee is pretty bad, strong on the "protein" flavour, however, when you add milk and sweetener of your choice, it actually tastes more like a latte. I was so skeptical at first sip, but once I dressed it up, it's surprisingly good. It won't compare to a classic delicious espresso or cappuccino, but for instant coffee, I'm very impressed. It doesn't feel like I am giving up my delicious morning coffee.As for the protein and collagen, I can easily say that it keeps me way more full in the mornings and I find myself eating less throughout the day. I haven't been using it long enough to see any benefits from the collagen, but I'm happy it's also included. I absolutely want to keep buying this.

I love the salted caramel collagen coffee and have ordered a number of times. However, this time I have received a hazelnut mocha (which I am going round in circles about a replacement) so now I am stuck with a coffee that I didn’t order unfortunately

Packaging is totally eco friendly, comes with its own scoop so you know exactly how much to put into your cup. The directions are really simple, 1 scoop, add your hot water, stir and drink. I added milk to my coffee and the quality was so good!Signing up to a monthly subscription means that it's a little cheaper than going direct if you are also a Prime subscriber as there is no delivery charge to pay compared to buying direct & delivery was next day.There are different flavours available also.It is a great way to get that protein into your diet in a really simple and easy way. I'm thrilled with this product and can't wait to continue on my journey with it from here on out.

It has such a horrible aftertaste and smell likely due to the collagen . I couldn't even finish the first mug. Sadly, this is going straight into the trash

Geschmacklich erinnert der Kaffee an diese Pulver-Cappuccino-Mischungen aus dem Discounter. Ist also eher ein Guiltypleasure als etwas für Kaffee-Feinschmecker. Aber für mich am Nachmittag mittlerweile unverzichtbar und ich habe schon erfolgreich mehrere Kolleginnen und Kollegen dazu verführt 🤷🏻♀️😅Zusammensetzung ist top, Fairtrade ebenfalls zu unterstützen 👍🏻

Schmeckt sehr sehr gut und is einfach zuzubereiten!Dosierlöffel ist dabei und die Verpackung lässt sich gut schließen und geht nicht wie bei anderen irgendwann nicht mehr richtig zu! Ziemlich praktischWürd ich immer wieder bestellen!
Insgesamt gut
Ich war überrascht, dass das Pulver wirklich null süß ist. Ich finde gesüßte Kaffeeprodukte generell nicht so toll und ich war mir nicht sicher. Ich hatte extra diese Variante bestellt. Mit heißem Wasser aufgegossen schmeckt er mir nicht, da komischer Beigeschmack durch das Collagen. Daher der Punktabzug. Meine Lösung: ich koche mir einen eher dünnen Filterkaffee und da kommt das Pulver dann zusätzlich rein. So wird der Beigeschmack überdeckt. Mit der Methode ist es wirklich gut trinkbar, ich würde das Produkt wieder kaufen.

Quick and easy delivery. The taste of the product is amazing. I like mixing it in the morning with an extra shot of espresso and some cocoa powder. It has become part of my daily routine. I totally recommend giving this a try!
