    Brought for my 5 year old to help with learning to read and spell. Really nice product, well made and easy for kids to use. I like the idea of the dice with letters on as it encourages the kids to seek out the letter they need, nice clear picture card with their word on. Very good product.

    Coogam's Wooden Matching Letters Game will provide years of fun. From using the 30 double-sided colourful and bright cards purely as Flash cards to increase your child's vocabulary, then showing them how to match the letters on the wooden blocks to those on the card , and eventually hiding the word on the card as they become more confident. This is a fun and easy start to teaching your child to spell, when learning is fun it's quicker and your child won't get bored.As with so many great ideas the set is a very simple one,the cards,8 wooden ,lettered, blocks and a wooden tray. The tray is solidly made with a tray to place the relevant card in while the budding scholar matches the words on it with the sturdy wooden block and a slot that holds the card with the descriptive word hidden for when the child has progressed to that stage.This is a high quality game, the wooden tray is well-made and like the letter blocks there are no sharp edges. The cards are about the thickness of a postcard with colourful and cheerful pictures .The game is for children over the age of 3 and not only educational but a great, and rewarding , bonding experience as you help your child learn and gain confidence .The game comes in a sturdy cardboard box and the whole thing is made to last.At £16.99 at the time of review the game isn't cheap but it is very well designed, build quality is exceptional and the educational value is priceless.

    I dont know why i was so excited for this even more then my nieces and nephews who this was intended for it looks really good the flash cards are back to front filled with words, words include pictures love that it has a slot to hold the flash card whilst theyre using the blocks to write the words out 8 blocks all have alphabets on them im suprised at the price i figured it would be more expensive then it actually is great learning tool its fun and interactive deffiently recommend really happy and not just me the kids too

    everything is a solid build and will last small hands well. simple idea but will really help stretch the young brain into some thinking and early skills. its lovely to look at and nice and tactile to play with. wonderful as an introduction into learning.

    Lovely set, well made wooden letter blocks with nice cards. Only criticism is when you put the cards in stand it goes to deep to see the letters.

    Essential and fun way to teach phonics

    Excellent tool to teach letters and sound and increase attention span. It's great for multiple ages too. With my 2 year old we look at the pictures and it gets him to talk and become familiar with the idea of letters and sounds. With my 4 year old we have fun looking for the letters. When he gets older it will also work as a spelling words game.Being able to add touching/finding the letters makes it easy and fun to teach them the basic concepts of phonics. Could not recommend enough.

    Das uns übersandte Spiel ist qualitativ nicht zu beanstanden. Die Karten sind farbig bedruckt, die Würfel angenehm in der Hand, keine scharfen Kanten oder Ecken oder Ähnliches. Die Buchstaben auf unseren Würfeln sind auch bei schwacher Beleuchtung durchweg gut erkennbar, obwohl sie meines Erachtens nicht aufgemalt sind, sondern lediglich aus der unlackierten Auslassung bestehen.Der Kontrast und die Erkennbarkeit mögen vom Farbton des jeweiligen Naturholzstückes abhängen, was die negativen Rezensionen erklären würde. Wir hatten auf jeden Fall Glück.Bei den zu legenden Wörtern handelt es sich ausschließlich um kurze englische Vokabeln. Die Aufgabe besteht jeweils darin, die richtigen Buchstaben zu finden und in der richtigen Reihenfolge zu legen. Gut geeignet, um ein Kind an die englische Rechtschreibung heranzuführen.In unseren Augen stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für 17 EUR durchaus ein sinnvolles Set.

    My baby son loved this educational toy but it came with 7 alphabets cube instead of 8. some 4 letter words could not be completed because of this.
