5.0 out of 5 stars There are so many pieces to play with.

I found the crocodile clips difficult to use because of the covering. A great "toy" to introduce simple electronics. I would recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrid

    p. · 25 May 2021

I'd give it MINUS one star if I could. OK, you can make a wheeled cart but there's nothing in the box to help you fit anything to it -- even a few extra screws would have helped. It's got five bulbs and one holder, perhaps useful because they can be difficult to get hold of nowadays. Two unmountable switches -- they are designed as a push in fit into a rectangular cut out, which is not present on the baseboard. Two motors, arcanely described as 'red' and 'white'. Is there any difference between them -- we are not told -- maybe one of them is a stepper. who knows? A couple of battery holders and a few fragile fan blades. Oh -- there's the dodgy rheostat too. And of course the virtually unusable connecting wires. At each end they have a crocodile clip with insulation so slippery that it slides around whenever you try to open them, almost impossible for kids to use. And none of the electrical components has a decent sized lug to attach them to anyway, mostly tiny terminals which the clips just fall off as soon as anything moves. And finally there are the unusable gears, sixty of them. There are no shafts to mount them to and if there were, there is nothing to mount the shafts to. So do not expect to drive your cart's wheels through a gear chain from the motor. Finally, I nearly forgot -- there are the instructions that are just a bad joke.

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple circuits

    J. · 22 January 2021

Nice beginners set. My son is doing circuits with his homeschooling and these arrived the very next day. Allowing him to put into practice the simple experiments. Simple enough for the basics. But extras, not to build the plane as shown no instructions or manual and really not the best components. For building a toy vehicle.Great for simple circuits .

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for a tenner!

    D.W. · 25 January 2021

Bought this for my 8 year old as an intro to circuits and electricity. He enjoyed making a simple lighting circuit and then we made a motor powered windmill with a couple of pulleys! 😄 Great fun for a tenner!

3.0 out of 5 stars Circuit training system

    J.P.W. · 19 June 2022

Concept is good but spoiled by poor execution. Insulation on crocodile clips slips around so younger fingers can't get them to work. Motors are good for demonstrating the principle but lack the power to make the fan operated car shown on their website work. There's a whole pack of gears but no way of using them. Might by some steel shafts and make some brackets to enable gears to be demonstrated to grandson.

Bought this so my seven year old son could instruct me on the basics of circuitry. I feel that it has worked very well. I now know more.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality

    A.C. · 9 April 2024

Everything that is shown and described is included, but the genera quality of the goods in the package is very poor.Study the package contents before you purchase, it is very difficult to "make" anything with what is supplied.Yes, you can light a light bulb, buzz a buzzer and make a motor turn, actually building something........Not really, we managed a couple of hours fun with it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Get the blocks kit instead

    R. · 27 June 2020

Avoid purchasing this 'kit'... Unless you enjoy seeing your child's dissapointment. There are no instructions for the 'car'.The variable resistor barely works if you squeeze it hard while you slide it (harder than a child could squeeze too)The fan blades broke when trying to remove from the motor. There are nowhere near enough screws included to mount components to the board. There is a great selection of gears and pulley wheel include, yet no additional axles or mounts to actually use them. The insulation of the crocodile clips is like a slippery silicone which made it difficult for even an adult to use them and a very small lever which meant my son struggled to open them even without the insulation.Just incredibly dissapointing for what I had hoped would be a nice father - son activity now he has started using basic electronics at school.

    PERFECTO PARA TRABAJAR CON NIÑOS

Fairly ok kit for children with skilled parents

    V. · 24 May 2022

The kit is a bit weird overall:- resistor will not fit to the car (so you can't "regulate speed" as described)- cogwheels is something that you can't use (nowhere to put those)- all parts are quite fragile (so I do not think it is "for children", or maybe "one-time-use for children")- light bulb base is very looseit would be good to put small resistor instead of this big one and it would be great to have different type of contacts for the items (maybe F-F wires and M contacts on all the items). There should be a push-button in the kit. Whithout the above the kit is only useful for children after someone with fair soldering skills will do something and through some additional items in.The kit is maybe okish for the price, but it is hard to use as-is, especially when you want to let your kids play with it by themselves. It is maybe suitable for few time use for a lab works in school to understand how things are working. But if you want it to last longer and be more interesting for smaller children then you will have to do something around.

    Produits très moyen

    y. · 9 November 2023

    Need instructions

    K.H. · 12 August 2023

These are perfectly fine if you know what to do with them. Luckily some other reviewer had posted a picture how to get tha ”car” moving. But these small white bit I have no idea what to do with. With a couple of infermatice suggestion pictures the package would be perfect.

    Sin caja

    C.d.A. · 21 June 2022

El contenido está muy bien, lo único malo es que no venga en una caja, enseñando un poco el producto y algunas directrices mejor ilustradas de su utilización, teniendo en cuenta que es para que los niños aprendan..
