5.0 out of 5 stars Creamy + just like other brands
I bought this when I couldn’t order tropical sun or nido brands. It did not disappoint in taste + value. Tin lasts a lot longer than liquid milk of same price. Recommended. Full cream with vitamins
5.0 out of 5 stars Tastes great!
I did some searching around before trying this, and went for it as it sounded like the best. It's great, and even tastes normal in tea. I bought it for camping, but now I'm using it at home again. Sorry to see it's not currently in stock - I hope they get it back. Highly recommended.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great authentic taste. Ask for expiry date before buying!
This milk tastes exactly how powdered milk should taste. I gave 4 stars for two reasons:1) There is an additive in this milk called soy lecithin which is probably what gives milk a slightly grainy texture. This is not an issue for me but may be for others. Dried milk without additives should be smooth with a very fine texture, similar to flour (I used to secretly scoop dried milk from the glass jar my mum had in her kitchen in the 90s so I know lol. There weren't many additives in food back then, especially where we lived).2) The seller seems to consistently get stock with expiry dates within the next few months (I read reviews only after I realised that mine is to expire within the next few months).I ordered mine in March 2022, the expiry date on the tin is Nov 2022. And production date is Nov 2020! Technically, of course, nothing is wrong with it. But like many other customers, I bought this for emergencies when I can't get to shops for fresh milk. So I expect it to last a while! So I would recommend to ask the seller about the expiry date before buying the item.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good flavour, will buy again
This is lovely and creamy, I usually get "full cow" milk but keep this for when I've run out. It does have a bit of a UHT flavour but prefer it to skimmed or semi if that's all there is.Good full cream alternative is semi skimmed topped up with this, I've found.
5.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad replacement for fresh milk.
I much prefer this product to anything I can buy locally. Mainly because it isn't the skimmed milk version, which lacks flavour compared to full fat milk powder. Is it as good as fresh milk? Not quite, but compared to any of the skimmed versions I have used in the past, it's pretty darned close.Just make up the milk powder with cold water (I have a dedicated jug I use for this purpose), and then use in exactly the same way as fresh milk. And given the run on these types of products at the start of the Covid pandemic, I was grateful I had this in my pantry.Price is slightly more than a supermarket own brand, but the supermarket one is only a skimmed milk version, so the few extra pence per kilo is well worth the investment in my opinion.
3.0 out of 5 stars Strange taste and doesn't fully dissolve
I like that it's a creamy flavour but it adds a strange taste to the coffee I use, whether instant of coffee pods. Always leaves remnants at the bottom no matter how hard I stir it!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
I bought this product to take with me camping for 5 days and 4 nights for a family of 4. It was more than enough and I had 1/4 left at the end of the camping. We used it for breakfast with cereals, to make hot choccolate and to add to coffee. The flavour is great, both cold or hot. Very easy to make
5.0 out of 5 stars A real must if you can'nt get too the shops.
A really good product, at first it may look expensive however it's not 130 makes 1ltr and you get 400 in a can.Just add water and you can't tell the difference between the product and fresh milk and you don't need a fridge tostore milk. However, it does taste much better if you chill it before use, just mix as much as you need. Mr. R.
