The Spontex Catch & Clean indoor rubber broom and dustpan set is efficient, hygienic and convenient. The broom has a unique rubber bristle structure combining V shaped and blade bristles that makes it two times more efficient than a traditional bristle broom at picking up all types of dirt including pet hair, on all types of surfaces including carpets. With a simple press of the button, it can be positioned at 45°, 60° and 90° angles to make it easier to clean all those hard-to-reach places, even under furniture! The dustpan has a special foothold to keep it securely in place whilst sweeping up, so there's no need to bend down, plus it has a rubber blade to easily collect up dirt! It also acts as a stand when not in use to store the broom.

Great product, so much better than a regular dustpan & brush. With the silicon Broom, it's especially good as no more bending down with the dustpan brush. All doable with just the Broom which is also handy, as no brush to store in addition to the Broom and dustpan.

I bought this broom and pan set for one thing and one thing only, pet hair and so far it has done the job perfectly.I have 4 golden retrievers and I was getting tired of dragging out my big vacuum cleaner 3 or 4 times a day so I started looking around for a cordless vacuum that would be quick and simple to pull out to sort out the carpet of dog hair. However, unless you want to spend huge money (£200+) getting a cordless for pet hair is a bit of a disaster without as you really need the anti hair wrap.I was just resigning myself to parting with stupid money when I thought to google brushes/brooms for dog hair and I ended up finding this. I can't say that it would be good as a regular brush and pan set (it's a bit more costly than most), especially as the pan doesn't sit flush on the floor, but for dog/pet hair it's the bees knees. I cannot fault it's performance one bit, it grabs and traps the hair and the dust pan is perfect for lifting it up to the bin. No muss and no hair flying everywhere.I've seen the reviews about build quality and so i'll be keeping an eye and may update this but so far this is a 5 star product for the job of sweeping up dog/pet hair.

So I'll start off with the biggest downside; as with pretty much all silicone brushes I've looked at, the handle isn't just one nice straight "stick", you have to assemble it by fitting pieces together. This design does mean that there are weak points at the joints. It would be easily remedied if they made it more like a mop handle.There are luckily fewer parts to put together on this than with my old brushes of a different brand, but the handle does bend while you're brushing and it feels very flimsy (not the material, just the joints). Luckily though, unlike with my last 2 silicone brushes, you really don't have to put much effort into brushing when it comes to carpet.The brush head is good and does the job, although it would be nice if it was at a bit of an angle like a regular brush, as it can be difficult to get the brushing angle right when it's just straight down from the handle.The dustpan that comes with this is great and easy to use.Overall, I do like this product, and it prevents my vacuum getting clogged with hay and dog hair, so I wouldn't be without one, I just always worry they're going to break (as with my last 2)!As an overall product, I would have given it 3 stars, but, as I know what you get from other carpet brushes, I gave it an extra star based on comparison to what else is currently available.

This broom has some room for improvement .First of all, the handle comes in 4 parts , is that necessary ? it's not very strong, I've read other reviews and it breaks easily, so I will be careful and not apply much pressure to the handle. If it came in one piece or two would be betterThe broom itself sweeps ok but I find the bristles too short, therefore places like underneath the radiator I can't clean properly like my old broom because the head hits the bottom of radiator .The dustpan is ok but it can be too large when you empty it into a not too big binThe good thing about the broom is that it's more hygienic and easier to clean and more compact than a regular broomI only use it in the kitchen and in laminated floor.

Yes, I am apparently now at that time of life when I get excited over a household cleaning product! Going public with such a realisation was a big leap of faith, but honestly, this product just has to get the credit it deserves, so here I am.Now, I have 7 cats (yes, I am also at THAT time of life too) so, when I say that I have to deal with enough fur to create an 8th cat, on a daily basis, I am not exaggerating. The stuff is EVERYWHERE. I have hard flooring throughout and a vaccuum cleaner which is also at a time of it's life when, let's just say it has seen better days. And it struggles.....a lot, with the demand my 7 little fur factories place on it.So.....enter this amazing little broom from Spontex. I was apprehensive at first, but took a leap of faith based on the reviews. And, I was not disappointed. This thing can do anything. I can clean not only my floors, but also my sofa, bedding, cat climbing frames, rugs etc with it. Fabrics are no challenge for this beast. It is so easy to use and so effective.It has a magical way of trapping and gathering up all the fur which normally just gets sent flying around the room with a normal broom. And it also releases the fur in little clumps which are easily swept up into a pile. No matting in the bristles either. And the accompanying dustpan is a great little bonus.The broom itself is easy to clean, lightweight yet sturdy and easy to store, stood up in the dustpan. A nice little touch, too, is the ability to angle the head, depending on the job at hand, so it also makes light work of sweeping under furniture like beds. It even looks nice, with it's vibrant blue colour.My house honestly looks and feels cleaner after using this, than what it does after using my vacuum cleaner, which has now pretty much gone into a well-earned retirement. So I'm also saving on electricity and doing my bit for the environment.In fact, this broom has made such a difference that we are now in the process of taking ownership of our 8th fur baby.......cos we just know this little beauty from Spontex can handle it!

Was really excited to buy this product (proof I’m an adult!) - brush is great but the dustpan is useless. The lip bows in the centre and even with the weight of the foot it doesn’t sweep up the bits. I’ve tried putting it in hot water to soften it then add weight in the top of the lip to get it to sit flat but it doesn’t. Great idea poor pan!
Rubber broom rocks!
I never had heard of this before. However it has been a game changer with sweeping up dog hair around here. It collects it neatly and doesn’t let the hairs fly off in different directions. Works beautifully!
