Fantastic little air fryer I use mine in my caravan for weekends away, it makes mealtimes a lot easier!! Looks good too!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Air fryer
A very reasonably priced air fryer. No faff, just a temperature and timer dials. The pan is OK size wise, can fry a few things at once. Has an easy to clean drip tray, just make sure you move things around in the fryer when cooking. Exceptional for frozen foods, crispy and fluffy.
4.0 out of 5 stars A great small air fryer
A well made fryer. It works well and is easy to use. Easy to keep clean and looks good.It is one of the smaller air fryers but that doesn’t stop it performing well. The temperature control is pretty good and the timer is accurate. Overall a nice little air fryer at a good price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works extremely well.
I bought this air fryer to use in my camper van as it’s only 1000w. However most of the time it lives in the kitchen and I’m amazed with its versatility. Over the last month, I’ve used it for fruit crumbles, toast, meatballs, sausages, pizza slices and roast chestnuts. Did a baked potato in the microwave for 5 mins, sliced it up and then cooked in the air fryer to make potato wedges. Hardly used the main oven since. It’s a compact size so suitable for one or two people and takes up little space in the camper van or kitchen. The only criticism I would have is that the numbers on the temp dial and timer are very small and copper coloured against a brown background. Not very easy to read if your eyesight isn’t good! Overall, very satisfied. If you have the space and power go for something bigger, but this is perfect for me.
3.0 out of 5 stars Compact air fryer
We wanted a frier for our motor home, so needed a compact low wattage one. Difficult to read the dials due to the colour of the writing. The timer is not very accurate, but works fine. A digital timer would have been better. Easy to remove the grill but the wee rubber end stoppers just fall off so best removed before washing otherwise they will go down the plug hole. You need them to stop the rattling when shaking the drawer. Overall the fryer does what we wanted it for so is fine.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the money
We bought this to use in our caravan as it's only 1000w we use it all the time. The size is just right for the two of us but would not be big enough for a family. Easy to use and looks smart very pleased so far with this purchase.
1.0 out of 5 stars One of the worst kitchen gadgets I've ever bought
This airfryer had various problems from day one. I almost returned it die to a strong toxic chemical smell that permitted the food but I was keen to find a resolution that meant I didn't have to mess around with a difficult return process with Bolo or send more plastic to landfil. On researching I found that some airfryers have a protective coating on the elements and there is a need to season it by effectively burning this off which took around 8/10 attempts at having the dial turned all the way to 30 mins and the heat up highest. The stench of plastic fumes eventually did leave and then the next issue was that the timer now stopped staying to time and pinging after 2 or three minutes. You could take the dial off for cleaning and when I looked, there was a tiny piece of rubber that had worn down.So I spoke to Bolo and said I would like to return the item but that I don't have a.printer and I am not currently mobile due to disabilitles. I was in redinky disappointed that actually the free return would only count if I could walk over a mile to get to a location to print out a label as the attendant refused to send me a label out saying it was 'no longer Bolo's policy to do this". The next offer was.for me to use a.courier and pay for the return andonce it was recieved at Bolo I could get my refund but that it would take up to two weeks. I explained again that I didn't have a printer and asked why they didn't have a returns process in place that didn't exclude a disabled person from using it. I pay for prime membership and was simply told that there was no complaints process and to just throw the machine in the bin. Whilst I appreciate that this was a solution it was not acceptable for me.to have to go to the frustrating process of having to have extended conversations trying to find worksrounds that Bolo haven't bothered putting in place for their disabled customers, which is law by the way. All in all I will always consider very carefully whether I purchase something from Bolo as the whole point of online shopping is that it's meant to be easier.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good little fryer
An excellent item, though bear in mind the small size - not for a family, but ideal for single people, and takes up very little bench space. the controls are easy to use and are fully understandable, though if one needs to turn the timer to a lesser value then the knob is stiff. On the trivet there are 3 silicone rubber ends. These come off and get lost all too easily. I already had to replace a couple for which I used 6mm inside diameter food grade 200'C silicone tubing - https://www.Bolo.co.uk/dp/B08Y88148M?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 . Cutting off about a quarter of an inch of the tubing and push on makes an excellent substitute and prevents damage to the non stick surfaces.
