I have bought a few of these drives now. Honestly, even if you don't rate Samsung very highly as I don't, you can't fault them with their SSD drives. They really know what they're doing with their SSD drives. Always top quality, easy to install, good performance and good price.The price of the 8TB drive fluctuates so if you don't need a drive urgently and the price is high, you might want to wait and the price may well lower in time.On the 8TB model, the usable space after formatting is 7.27TB.I have put all my data on these drives including lots of Steam games. The speed isn't lightning fast but it's definitely faster and smoother than using HDD. So if you can afford it, replace every hard drive in your computer with these drives and don't have any hard drives at all. That's what I did and my PC is noticeably faster and quieter.These are QLC drives which are not as fast as more expensive drives but they are large capacity for a good price so you can't complain. If you want 8TB and you don't want to pay a fortune, don't even bother looking at the competition. There isn't any. Samsung is the King of good price, large capacity SSDs.

I recently upgraded to the Samsung 870 QVO 2 TB SATA 2.5 and it's been a fantastic addition to my computer setup. The drive is lightning-fast and I've noticed a significant improvement in boot times and overall system performance. The 2 TB capacity is more than enough for my needs and allows me to store all of my important files, photos, and videos in one place.Installation was a breeze and the Samsung Magician software made it easy to clone my old drive and transfer all of my files over without any issues. The drive is also very quiet and doesn't generate any noticeable heat, which is a plus.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the Samsung 870 QVO 2 TB SATA 2.5 to anyone looking for a high-performance and reliable SSD. The price is a bit higher than some other drives on the market, but in my opinion, the speed and reliability are well worth the investment.

PROS:- Small & Slim Design.- All SSD drives run silently.- This 8TB runs cool under load.- Read speeds are fast & snappy.- QVO SSD's are still way faster than a traditional hard drive.CONS:- Write speeds are slower than most SSD'sI've copied all my large 4K Bluray Movies onto this drive ... plugged it into my Nvidia Shield Media Player & theres no more waiting & the Movies play back FAST, Buttery Smooth & Instantly with no Stuttering.I didn't buy it for my Pc as 8TB is a little too small for me & i prefer 10TB, 12TB & 16TB drives. So when Samsung finally start making them in this sexy, quiet, cool, slim format i'll start buying them 🙂Hope This Review Helps 😊

I am very happy with this SSD, as it is large and fast, and it does not compromise on performance.The SSD is easy to install and use, as it comes with Samsung’s Magician software and Data Migration software. The Magician software allows me to update the firmware, monitor the health and status, and optimize the performance of the SSD. The Data Migration software allows me to clone my data from my old drive to the new SSD with ease.Overall, I am very impressed with this SSD and I think it is a great product for anyone who wants to upgrade their PC or laptop to the largest available storage on the market without compromising on performance. It is large and fast, reliable and durable, and easy to install and use. It is a SSD that I would recommend to my friends and family.

I wanted to increase the memory on my new PC and wanted to add an additional 1TB. After reading a lot of reviews and doing a lot of research I settled on this Samsung, which was not without an element of doubt on my part because I am not generally a fan of Samsung products.After buying it I am very pleased with it. It performs well, was very easy to connect, felt like it is a quality product. The consensus seems to be that Samsung know their stuff when it comes to things like SSD's ( however their TV's are another story in my experience), and this consensus at the moment seems to be borne out. Very happy with the drive and the price was good too!
