5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, clean and works!!
Ordered these as we had used the old wood and metal versions trapping fingers but nothing else. These work like a peg system, open like a peg and they’re set. The bait trap was also easy access so you don’t catch your fingers or set it off. Caught the culprit on first night! Easy clean disposal too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quickly dispatched of the mouse
Always had mice in the garden/garage and they've never been a bother. Lucky enough to have had fields behind our home. Recently they've started building houses on the land and we've seen increased footfall of mice to the point we've now found them in our home. We saw one a few weeks back and missus bought poison as we were gonna be away from the home for a while. It was eaten, never saw the mouse again but never found its body either. Thursday night saw a juvenile scurrying around the front room so purchased traps that night. Delivered yesterday, set traps and this morning mouse in trap. Bait - peanut butter. I'm not too happy having to kill them but it would have been instant mouse heaven. Mice can be very destructive and unsanitary in the home so not taking chances. Will leave fresh traps out for several days more just in case as the new mouse was juvenile so could be more. Traps were cheap, easy to use with bait pot that comes out - very handy, and very strong 'snap'. Would highly recommend. We used to own chickens years back so tried humane traps in garden. Never caught a mouse or rat once. If kill traps are not for you and you wish to try humane versions to release. Remember to take your catch several miles from home. They have homing instincts like pigeons and will come back given the opportunity!
5.0 out of 5 stars These things work
They are great traps at an excellent price. Caught mice immediately whenever they enter our house(usually in cold weather). Simple to set and very effective. The wife doesn’t worry about mice anymore.
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up- great price!
For the good price and how easy they are to set up I’m impressed! I’ve had them down 2 weeks and only just caught a teeny tiny one. It’s traumatising knowing there are mice in your house! Although I have only caught one so far - I think the traps are good quality, I’ve stuck something light on them just to see if they snap down and they do!I have also had someone out who has put down poison which seems to have been eaten so hopefully they have all gone to their final resting place.Happy for them to live elsewhere - just not in my house!
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant product
Brilliant product, very good quality, the best mouse trap I have used as we get quite a few mice under our decking, this product is brilliant and very well priced
1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't work
These looked similar to another kind of trap I've been using so thought I'd give them a go. Sadly the peanut butter I used to bait it had disappeared and the trap was not triggered. I used the same tiny amount of peanut butter that I would in my other traps and made sure it was smeared (so not easily removable), but I'll be reverting to the other type of trap.
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant.
Easy to set, really easy to clean, I managed to get 2 mice in 1 trap alone. Didn’t think I should post a picture of that.Great value for money and so much safer than the traditional wooden types. They are very light weight but brilliant quality.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not very sensitive to small weight
I'd purchased this style trap before and they worked very effectively. These are much less sensitive to the weight and those little furry critters aren't being caught but sit next to the trap enjoying the 'treat'!
Most effective rodent trap
This is probably the best effect rodent trap around - I remove and reinstall the bait holder which is fill with bait from a suet block, then place the trap in the general area of the rodents travel path - Then snap, then remove the deceased rodent, open the trap and replace without the need to replace the bait.Note, if the bait holder is empty and the trap is open, the bait was probably eaten by ants/ insects.
For the smart, escape mice
I have sneaky dairy farm mice who move into my place from the dairy farm next door. I used to keep the plain wooden-metal combination traps baited (for months) to no avail. I have also tried sticky traps, also to no avail. Desperate, I tried poison, which obviously DOES work but I had several bouts of dead animal smell for weeks at a time since the mice would crawl into the walls of my 85+ year old house and die. I thought I was a genius and even placed the poison ON TOP of a sticky trap, and was left with piles of mouse turds on the middle of the sticky trap where I'm assuming the mice jumped to sit on the poison and dropped in like it was hot over the edge. Enter my rage. I bought these suckers, filled the tiny cups with peanut butter, and set them. I kid you not, it wasn't even 15 minutes later that I had caught 2 unsuspecting mice! They are also easy to clean and reset for the next round of critters.
Bester Erfolg!
Gestern aufgestellt, Nutella auf Brot als Köder, heute morgen war eine Maus drin. Vorteile: Leichte Handhabbarkeit, gute Köderbefestgung, Wirksamkeit. Empfehlenswert!
