5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant sub for a small car.
This sub is incredibly solidly built, the case being die-cast aluminium. It easily slipped under the passenger seat of my son’s Aygo (mk1), and held in place ok with some Velcro pads (not supplied) rather than trying to screw it down. The kit is complete with cables for many different types of installation and the instructions are very clear. We did have one installation issue that arose because we also changed out the Argo’s old CD player head unit for a more modern Pioneer one with bluetooth hands-free; The adapter that came with the radio had to have its yellow (permanent 12v) and red (switched 12v) cables crossed over as the subwoofer was not powering up correctly (and yes, the blue/white remote device wire was correctly installed!). After this, it was plain sailing to hide the wires under the central console without having to remove any seats for access. The result is a stereo with MUCH better bass that’s audible at even motorway cruising speeds. A very simple and very useful upgrade to the Aygo.

At first was disappointed but realised I wired it up wrong but then changed it and now works well especially for the price it is well built and sounds good and fit under a fiesta passenger seat perfectly

For the price I can't complain. This does the job if you want to add a little low end and space is limited. It's not too difficult to install if you understand basic wiring. The sound quality isn't audiophile but it will improve any standard set up that lacks the low end. It has an adjustable crossover and gain controls on the unit itself, and an additional remote volume control. What's more it fits neatly under most car seats. You don't need to buy any additional equipment to get this going, all the wiring is also provided. Ok so maybe the bass isn't very tight, it's not going to compare to a 12 inch sub box booming insane levels of bass in your boot but it's an underseat space saving 6" woofer with a built-in amp (active) for less than £150, it is a massive improvement to standard car speakers.Personally I dial the crossover from my head unit (car stereo) as it has a sub out, this will give better results but you can use your factory stereo and wire in using the speaker connections on the back.It's never going to compete with a proper sub but it's nice and compact and provides the extra bass I was missing without breaking the bank.Edit: I've been using this unit for a while now and no complaints. I actually take the longer way home so I can enjoy the music 🎶

The 2 way speakers in my Ducato doors were struggling to deliver bass and treble sound was awful and distorted at higher volumes. Got this baby and a couple of tweeters off Bolo. Tweeters in A-pillars and the subwoofer under the seat. WOW what a transformation. Clean bass and lots of it (if required). I can now have the equaliser flat on the head unit and get a well balanced sound. The original speakers are now more comfortable now they don't try to deliver bass and I can hear the high end too now it's up high instead of going into my legs. The sun was fairly easy to install albeit a tight fit under the Ducato Moho seat.

So I read a few bad reviews on this, about lacking bass etc.After fitting it, I can assure you, it has plenty. I'm only on an oem system, with speaker inputs, not rcas.It's not going to beadequate if you're after the level of bass a dedicated 10''/12'' sub and an amp gives.But if you want to add some bass to an oem setup, this is amazing. Don't even have it cranked up, and it's got a nice rich thump. Can crank it up to be more than I need.Wish I'd bought one years ago!

Genuinely did not expect this thing to have as much grunt as it does. Mounted under the boot floor of the car, this thing properly rocks & really finishes off the budget system I've been fitting into the car over the months. Few days to tweek and tune the subs level & crossover and you're there! Really well made, decent wiring kit included (minus RCA cables). Coupled with a load of sound dreading around the car & boot floor, it's brilliant.

Some months ago I bought the 8" subwoofer. It was great so I decided to get a second for another vehicle. The listing now also included a 10" subwoofer so I bought that one instead. Sadly it is not up to the standard of the 8" one. It rattles badly at a reasonanble volume and only really plays one bass note. The build quality is also inferior to the 8" one. I can't recommend it. I'd have returned it if I'd not paid to have it installed, which involved the wires being cut, making it unreturnable.Buy the 8" one. It is built much more sturdily, does not rattle and plays a range of notes.

I'm hoping this one lasts longer than the previous one, original purchase just over a year ago which has recently packed up with no way of reviving and I haven't worked it hard one bit, no power to the amp and no reason why, went through all the checks ie fuse, earth and remote which all were working. Dead! I shopped around for a better one which I changed my mind about due to the fact all the wiring was in place and working for the dead one, I purchased the same product so it was easy to swap over, plug and play, I'm hoping this one lasts longer as it's up and running with minimal effort and sounds great. Well worth the money but unreliable up until now. Only time will tell if the product is worth dodging or not.

Good Quality for the price
This subwoofer is perfect for the size and price . I mounted it easily behind the back seats using the mounting brackets provided. I keep the remote equaliser in the glove box which is really useful to adjust the frequency and gain of the sub. Installation might be a little bit difficult if you have never fitted a subwoofer before but this is more due to the general understanding of the wiring and running the wires cleanly behind sills and panels etc which is the same for any subwoofer. It also comes with all the necessary wiring which is good because often the wiring kit is sold separately. Over all it's a good quality, well built subwoofer for the price which produces rich powerfull bass for it's size and I would definitely recommend.
Très puissant pour ça petite taille
Super kit très puissant malgré sa petite taille. En tout cas ça rentre parfaitement sous le siège.J'ai été surpris par tout le contenu malgré le petit prix, vous avez absolument tous les fils pour l'installer ( sauf les RCA si vous voulez l'installer avec la sortie sub du poste.Il ne reste plus qu'à voir la durée dans le temps
