    when I was busy spending £50 on posh French scented candles in jars you can make your own for a fraction of the cost? I don’t know why I thought making candles would be difficult, it’s the easiest thing ever

    My first attempt at candle making and I must say it turned out pretty well than I expected. Good wicks and burns well I must say. However, a bit more flames than usual, not sure if it's because of the size of the jars (20CL) used. Will update more after playing around with other sizes of jars.

    These wicks can re-light after being put out. Its happened twice now. Burn ok then can get very smoky when extinguished to the point where we move candles under the cooker extractor fan. Otherwise horrible lingering smoke.
