5.0 out of 5 stars Quality starter / intermediate level clay making tool set
Prefect for a new starter in clay making or for some one of intermediate level. Lots of variety amongst the tools. The set comes with a very handy storage case. A great set to get your creative skills going. Great value for the price paid. Easy and fun to use. Prefect for children or adults to use.

5.0 out of 5 stars For a starter - This is perfect!
I just decided that I want to mess around with some Polymer Clay.I ordered these on a whim and they are pretty decent quality. My only 'meh' thing is that I still have to research what these tools are and what they're for but easy done. (Would have been useful for a small list of examples included.)This set also comes with a fairly nice Grey case for storing these tools. It has a top to side zip which makes for easy rooting around for the right tools.I see no reason for these to break under fair use, only time will tell. Thanks!
5.0 out of 5 stars Value for money
Great set of tools for air dry clay or polymer, would recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Price, Great Tools
Excellent for a beginner like me, and the experts rate it highly too! :)My only critisism, and it's VERY minor - is that the case is a tight fit for all the tools. They fit fine, but it takes some rearranging to get them in, and I'm just not talented enough to get the sponge in too unless I squish it under everything, which just seems like sponge-abuse. Poor little sponge. :(
4.0 out of 5 stars Mostly adequate
You get quite a lot of things in this set, which is nice if you're starting out in modelling. The quality does vary between the various items though. The best and most solid-feeling items are the blue-handled ball styli. They are a good weight and do feel like they will last. The wooden handled ball styli are for smaller holes and whilst not as solid, they are still good.Further down, we get the silicone tools, which are adequate but wouldn't take rough usage - push too hard and they will pop out or at least deform. The black plastic stuff seems a bit of "filler". There are two more ball styli, and the rest is just poking tools, with a bit of texture on the sides. They don't feel great, and feel more like toys. There really wasn't any need for these. Then we get to the wooden "knife" and other cutters. Not sure why they made them from wood, other than hitting the environmentally-friendly mark, because these will just wear out, won't clean well, and just generally a waste of space. The knife doesn't have a sharp blade so you are just squashing the clay apart. Same for the other bits - there is no precision work to be done. You'd be better off with what you'd get for free off the counter at the fish and chip shop. I bought a set for the kids a few years ago and the plastic/melamine cutter that came with that is still going strong and far superior to this wooden stuff.Seems like they've got some decent tools, then want to give it shelf appeal with the "more is more" approach, filling the set with Christmas cracker tat, where they could have put a couple of other decent metal tools (there is no small flat carving tool in here) and left out the wooden and black plastic stuff.Lastly, the bag is decent, if a little tight. You won't get much more in there if you add to your collection, though I'll probably end up throwing away some of this eventually.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great range of colours, bakes well and also mixes with the brand name clay.
This worked superbly for fine figurines. It baked hard in 30 mins and blended well - among the colour selection in the set and also with other branded polymer clay which we had. It can get sticky during use if overworked, so just let it cool down from being handled or pop into the fridge when blending or reworking a shape.
