    Really nice little product, much better than struggling with a gas lighter as the long neck of this is perfect for deep candle jars etc.It's really good for its price and the fact there is an off switch for the arc is a good idea so it takes a slider then a button press to work.I love that's it's really light and we've used it all over the house including lighting the BBQ, that being said the top section barely fits a candlewick in it to light and it's unnerving when it's basically touching the candle flame on ignition.All I have to say is this would be used for everything if the arc section was a little wider.Overall 4/5 stars is exactly where it should be. I do Recommend.

    I have an ancient gas hob and it's clicker ignition thingy gave up the ghost over a decade ago. I have been using refillable gas ignitors ever since and they are a pain to refill and not very easy to use so I had become quite used to a quite scary time when lighting the burners - sometime the gas ignitor would work first time and sometimes it wouldn't meaning I might get a massive flare when it did.This is so much more relaxing and reliable.To begin with the magic wand as I am now naming it - arrived with a full battery which I could see because when I slid the switch to 'on' the blue lights all lit up!I then tried it with my gas burners. No dreadful pause - as soon as the gas came on the little arc of zappiness on the magic wand (it appears when you press a little button) lit it quietly and efficiently in milliseconds. I switch it off immediately afterwards and put it ready to hand near the hob.I will be so happy to get rid of the refillable gas lighters now and can keep my remaining butane to fill my creme brulee torches.I am very happy.The magic wand arrives in a nice cardboard box that is easily recyclable and it comes with a little recharging cable that fits easily into my USB adaptor plug in my kitchen.I chose the black version.

    We use a gas stove in Canada and a propane stove in Europe. We have a piso lighter in Europe but could not find one in Canada. Butane lighters are not environmentally friendly and sometimes do not work. Love this lighter. It holds a charge for at least a month and is very efficient to light a stove. Fast charging. This is our go to lighter.

    This lighter is very unique, it has what appears to be an arc that goes from point to point that you hold against a wick. You slide a little slider button along, three blue lights light up, then press on another button to ignite it, it's very user friendly. The long bendable neck is great for hurricane candle glass sleeves. It charges by plugging it in to a USB port and the charge does last a long while. It's safer to use than matches or other lighters and not difficult, I think you will like it.

    Much easier to use than a gas lighter. Lights stovepipe burners effectively and easily. No safety button to push while using trigger. Re-charges easily w phone cord. I have just reordered another for my other home.

    We use this for lighting the gas stove in our camper. It works perfectly. I prefer it to matches because there is no smell of sufur. It is easy to recharge in the camper or in our car as we travel.

    Overall pretty happy with these. They hold a charge for a pretty decent amount of time and light candles pretty well. They don't work as well for lighting certain style grill starter cubes because of how wide the opening is, but you can still make it work. They do work well on the weber cubes though. Either way I prefer these rechargeable ones over propane ones.
