Awesome sound. Only negative as with all Bluetooth stuff, is the changing input selector, annoying but it works so...?And if you take the mesh cover off, the speaker looks really cool.

Great ,big room filling sound, with 2 woofers and 2 tweeters in a dual ported cabinet. It paired instantly with my S22 fone, and produced a big sound, when you needed it. Vol/bass/treble controls. Really not thin sounding like many bluetooth speakers.

I've been living with the Edifier D12 for about a month now, and it just seems to get better. To me it's sound quality is outstanding for such a small unit. I wanted something for my living room that sounded good but didn't take up too much space, I'd looked at Marshall and Klipsch Bluetooth speakers but didn't want to spend a small fortune, so I stumbled up on the D12 and for £99 I decided to give it a go. I wasn't disappointed, I own more expensive speakers and amps , that I have in other rooms and these are great. But take up so much space. The D12 looks great and is so well made, but doesn't take over the room.As for the. Sound quality, it doesn't quite have the sound stage or separation of 2 channel stereo setup but still has the power to fill a decent size room. It has good clarity in the highs and mids, but I was especially impressed with the bass. I've read other reviews saying it was muddy and needed a subwoofer, but I don't agree, unless your a total basshead the D12 has loads of bass in fact I've had to turn it almost off to prevent bass transfer through my house.I would recommend this speaker to anyone that wants a real quality speaker without wanting to spend a lot of money. Try it you won't be disappointed, but please don't compare it to an audiophile quality setup, because it's not meant to be that.

Reassuring weight out of the box, quality appearance and easy remote connectivity. Streaming through my phone the music quality across a range of genres is excellent. Doesn't go super loud, but sounds really rich with great clarity.
Not for a small room
The quality of this speaker is amazing, but it performs best at 50% volume or higher, which can be too loud for a small room. It’s better suited for an open area or a larger room. In my opinion, the sound is rich and balanced, I really love it.
EDIFIER D12 BOOKSHELF SPEAKER
This is an excellent speaker, the sound is fantastic, 100 times better than the previous speakers I purchased. It's heavy, which in my mind makes it a good product. It's very easy to use, the remote works very well, I am very pleased with this product. You get what you pay for. I like the fact that it has BT capability, meaning I can tune in any radio station or type of music through the Radio Canada app or iHerat Radio app and play it on my stereo set which is hooked up to this amazing speaker. You can increase or decrease the bass or treble, the voice audio is easiy to understand. Excellent product.

É ótimo para ouvir Jazz, música Clássica, Rock, Hip Hop, Eletrônica. O som é muito limpo, e apesar de não ser o foco, os graves são muito bons.Os ajustes de treble e bass ajudam a criar o som focado no que você está escutando. A conexão bluetooth é muito boa. Ainda não testei com a TV, mas imagino que seja tão surpreendente quanto foi para ouvir música.É bem potente, se você mora em apartamento, cuidado para não incomodar seus vizinhos.

Comparando con el audio incorporado en TV, la D12 marca una diferencia significante por sus Bajos notables y definidos, cambiando drásticamente la experiencia de sonido.A Favor:--- La separación física entre woofers izquierdos y derechos para efecto Estéreo.--- Integra 2x amplificadores de Texas Instruments TAS5805 (clase D).--- A volúmenes altos no produce distorsiones notables.--- Excelente calidad de reproducción de Voz Humana, el rango completo de cual (≈ 70Hz – 1100HZ) gestionan los woofers de 4 pulgadas (vía 2) que emiten frecuencias medias y bajas al mismo tiempo.--- Equipada con fuente de poder por Impulsos – ofrece mayor seguridad y bajo consumo.--- Hecha de MDF, con cableado interior envuelto en espuma (evitando ruido de vibraciones) y panel trasero aislado con silicona (eliminando flujos de aire y silbidos innecesarios).--- Su salida LINE OUT no corta frecuencia baja en bocina-fuente (liberando de los bajos sus woofers) sino conserva y envía la señal de rango completo, que permite conectarle no únicamente Subwoofer sino otras bocinas activas (es importante que estas sean de misma potencia para posibilidad de control desde D12 principal).--- Diseño agradable. Los colores marrón y negro hacen contraste y combinan con gabinetes PC negros (en mi caso Silverstone ML06) y ventiladores Noctua marrones (por fin los colores de Noctua cobraron sentido para mí).--- Bluetooth versión 5.0 (alcance estable de unos 7 metros cuando el Bluetooth de celular también es versión 5).--- Mando a distancia con modo “Cine” y efecto envolvente. Ninguna otra bocina Edifier ofrece modo “Cine”.En Contra:--- No tiene sistema para emparejar inalámbricamente en Estéreo la segunda D12 – para que una D12 entera reproduzca canal “L” y otra D12 entera canal “R”. Esto tampoco se permite con cableado RCA incluido (la segunda D12 conectada a LINE OUT de la principal, ofrecerá el efecto Estéreo solo dentro de sí misma).--- Mi bocina conectada por cables al PC, a veces al encenderla, arranca con interferencias de fondo levemente notables en silencio, que se quitan apagándola, esperando un par de segundos y encendiéndola de nuevo. Por Bluetooth esto no ocurre.Conclusión:Por el precio tan moderado, la calidad de reproducción de sonido de Edifier D12 es impresionante. Aunque sus bajos no son extremos – ofrece excelente punch con bajos bien notables que oficialmente llegan a 54Hz. Sin embargo, si buscas la magia de bajos profundos – es mejor considerar un Subwoofer activo adicional o de plano algo como las R2850DB (3 vías, 2 subwoofers integrados).Debido a las características de amplificadores de Clase D, al modo Standby que realmente aquí nunca corta el suministro de energía, y a la ventilación deficiente dentro de altavoz – es vital apagar la D12 cuando no se use y por las noches del Enchufe de Corriente, para alargar su vida útil evitando el calentamiento prolongado de condensadores.

Just too good. Clarity was top notch. Bluetooth connects in a second. The wooden finish looks premium. Remote works flawlessly. It is perfect for a room.
