This contains almost exactly the same elements as the previously released Ruthie (who had brown hair) calendar, the difference being this one has Rosie (who has blonde hair) as the character instead.When you get this it looks enormous. It's approx 39cm tall, 37cm wide (at widest point) & 7cm deep.It is sealed in plastic you'll have to cut/rip open.Once you do, you fold down the front & reveal the calendar itself as the upright portion which looks like a little house with the folded out bit becoming a snowy path to decorate with the bits as you open each door & get the toys out.Included are some cardboard decorations (including a snowman & a letterbox plus a couple of others) to put in your snowy scene the day you open it.You get the doll on day 1, then the drinking cup to feed her with.She is about 15cm tall including the antlers on her head.She is jointed so she can sit.If you feed Rosie water then squeeze her tummy, tears will leak out of her eyes.Over the rest of the days you will get skis, ski boots (that work as boots without the skis) mittens, a scarf, a bow, a fabric Santa hat & earmuffs to dress Rosie with.You'll also get the reindeer, a sled with seats for both of them, a bit of cloth that could be a blanket or a rug - I'm not sure what it's meant to be, a chair for Rosie, a cushion for the reindeer, a table, a Christmas tree & a couple of decorations for it, a present for under the tree, a candy cane decoration, a bowl for the reindeer & a knife, fork & plate for Rosie.Some days you get a 'big' thing, like the doll or the tree.Other days you get a tiny thing like just the star for the tree or her jelly glitter boots (mittens are also jelly glitter)Most of it comes out of the calendar play ready, but there is a small amount of assembly required for the table & the sled.You get the decorations for the tree on different days so they have to be added to it. (the star & the two stockings.)It seems quite expensive to spend this much on an advent calendar, but you actually get a complete playset & a few of the bits have play value far past Christmas day which is more than can be said of some Christmas presents.Any Cry Babies fan would absolutely love this & unlike a chocolate calendar you have something left once the doors are all opened.

I got this for my daughter age 5 and I think it is a big hit. I have always bought Advent calendars for my kids to add to the holiday fun and this one is the best we've had.The advent “house” has doors that open to reveal the 24 secret surprises that create this magical wonderland! The house also has a picturesque snow scene that drops down for creating Rosie's adventures. YES, Rosie also cries “real” tears as it comes with a sippy cup for filling the doll with water.I think it can teach children patience by opening each door in sequence, until December 24th. It can also be used to introduce time frames, and organizational skills, as well. Your children will use their imaginations to unlock magical adventures with these little toys.My daughter loved being surprised with each day something new to open and I can't wait to see her excitement each time she opens a new little door.

This tiny model house with 24 small pieces right down to shoes and a bottle!! My three-year-old baby loves anything small and tiny. She spent hours opening all the tiny doors and digging out the little surprise inside. Her favorite part was feeding the baby a bottle of water and watching the baby cry! She was overjoyed when she found out how to do that. Very good quality toy not cheap made at all.Highly recommended!

Great advent calendar for little girls
My 3 year old absolutely loves it. Would definitely recommend it for any little one who likes the cry babies dolls.
