One of the reviews implies that these are purely paint covered. Whilst it is true that they are covered in paint initially so the design is a surprise they are not ordinary hot wheels cars. They remain colour change vehicles ( you need a warm water tub and a very cold water tub iced is best- and they change colour rapidly).The coating paint washed off completely, leaving a detailed, quality cars. My grandson loves them!I am reluctant to buy more in case of duplication , however.

We hadn’t realised that after the initial fun of revealing the cars colour, they continue to change colour depending on whether it’s hot or cold! The EXCITEMENT when my kids realised was unreal. We’ve got loads of hot wheels but would recommend adding these to the collection!

The size of these is really small. My kids didn’t find them very fun to play with and the build quality wasn’t great either. Not worth getting if you’re looking for a gift.

I bought these Hot Wheel cars for my 7 year old Grandson whom I had already had written to Father Xmas about in early November 2022. In my letter to Santa I revealed how when I was his age in 1961 my toy of choice was a Matchbox car rather than a video game that youngsters talk about opt for these days. If they are not watching characters on TV they can be found controlling video characters with I might add a lot of skill. However sometimes parents look to alternate play and that’s where these Hot Wheels cars came in. I asked Santa to drop off a loop de loop and a few super fast racing cars for my grandson to play with. The set Santa popped in my grandson’s stocking have became a much loved toy when ‘quiet time’ comes round.

Very sweet , small gift. We bought this for some children of Friends as a token gift. The can itself is small but the kids were in awe at the changing colours

Great stocking stuffer!
Fits perfectly in the stocking and a great surprise for a hot wheel loving 6 year old! Coloring changing is a cool bonus.
Great for a young boy
I bought these for my two sons to go with their color changing car wash! We got a great set and they both loved them. It’s fun for them to wash off the initial color to reveal which car they got. This set was two sports cars (but I have gotten two cars before that were pink and purple which they weren’t very happy about). These ones were yellow and orange with little bits of green. After the initial wash, they still get to have fun changing the colors with hot and cold water. I would buy these again for my boys. It’s easy for my five year to do on his own. It is hot wheel car quality and should last through two tough boys! These are fun and would make a great stocking stuffer!
