5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable at this price point
Bought these from an online recommendation and very glad I did. No messing setup, just turned them on and they connected. Battery life is really good, just charge them occasionally and definitely before a gig if that's what youre using them for. No noticeable latency and no noticeable noise. Build quality is OK, they feel good, but a bit plasticky, shouldn't be a problem if you don't mistreat them. A really great item for less than 40 quid and work perfectly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great inexpensive wireless system
I have used this now for two gigs and a few rehearsals. It has performed out of the park each time. I was a bit sceptical using this 2.4Ghz system but even near my home WiFi the signal didn't drop. That doesn't mean it won't ever. Still would recommend this to be used away from routers. The bug is very simple to use. Use switch on and plug and play. The battery life is enormous and I have spent almost an entire afternoon(about 6 hrs) when I had forgotten to switch it off. It takes a bit to charge but that is fine. I have used it with my active LTD bass(active EMG pup with preamp) as well as my Custom Jazz Bass with Active Emg pickups and tone control. Works in both cases so this works very well with Active instruments. Highly recommended and great value for money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Freedom or Fail?!
I was sceptical about using wireless units for guitar as range, latency, tone, battery can all mess with the fun of just getting on and playing. The first thing I tried out was the range - I tried the Joyo all the way down my 27ft living room and through to the end of my 60ft garden - it worked flawlessly. I also haven't detected any noticeable latency. The battery life meets expectations and it has lasted so far for me a week's worth of playing a couple of hours a day. The tone is fine - it is worth noting that I have compensated on my amp a little to get the exact tone I'm used to from a standard cable. I think the unit brings out the treble frequencies a little, but that's easily tweaked with a slight adjustment of EQ. I've been using it on my youtube channel for making content and couldn't be happier as it makes practicing and playing for hours much easier - especially with my heavy Les Paul. I can now wander around the house which takes some of the strain off my body from being rooted to the spot and I can repeat riffs again and again until they're right. I'm very happy, not sure my wife is now I'm playing more! The Joyo is a great little wireless guitar unit. It's pretty cheap and I wished I'd just taken the plunge before - better late than never.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great for the money!
Have used these for multiple gigs now with no problems. No noticeable latency. You won't be able to use these with some basses or guitars that have recessed jack inputs due to the shape. Comes with a cable that you can charge both at the same time which I think is a really nice touch. Range is pretty decent have been able to walk round the dance floor at functions but you won't be running down stadium runways with them. Not particularly robust material but that is to be expected at this price point. Overall a great entry into wireless jack and the battery will last longer than your average two hour set
5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and dependable guitar transmitter receiver
Bought these as they were on offer at a really good price and have used them for several weeks now. They work perfectly and pair up easily. Not noticed any real lag and sound is very good. Seem well made and fit stratocaster and others well. Easy to use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and great value
Works perfectly with no drop out whatsoever and no detectable audio latency.I bought this as a back-up for a unit that cost more than double the price and there is absolutely no difference. I can’t vouch for the battery-life as I’ve only used it for a maximum of 2 hours sessions. If I was being hypercritical: For reassurance, I’d prefer a differently coloured light to confirm fully charged rather than the charging light to just go out,
5.0 out of 5 stars Work perfectly
While I haven't used them at any great distance they connect perfectly and sound exactly the same as if I were using a cable. Battery life is really good and they look good quality. Thanks to their bending they fit well and don't stick out too much.
5.0 out of 5 stars Reliability, low latency and freedom of movement
I was hesitant about going wireless. I did my research and decided on the joyo JW-03. I am delighted with my purchase. It works straight out of the box. There is no noticeable latency. I have a large pedal board and stereo rig.It sounds great, no diminished sound with the added benefit of one less cable and freedom of movement. Unlike more expensive systems, there is no pack to attach to a shoulder strap. One small tr unit into the guitar, one rx unit into the pedal board switcher. Changing between guitars takes seconds. Sometimes simple is best and more reliable. Joyo prices are highly competitive and their QC is excellent from my experience. Good customer service follow up to ensure I was happy with my purchase and take action if not. That in itself speaks volumes. Highly recommended.
Great for Live
Very happy, have used them on a few live shows lately. battery lasts long once fully charged.
Great product 👌
I have other guitar transmitters, however, always experienced a low annoying buzz. I play bass in a church band, so it's important to not have yourself and everyone else in the room hearing the unwelcome buzz. I love this product. Let's just say, whenever I use it at home for practice or at a gig, it's always quiet as a church mouse...lol. Thank you for a great product. It works well, definitely worth the price, very reliable.
Better than expected
These have worked flawlessly for more than a year doing 1-3 hour gigs 1-2 times a week. I use it for playing bass in a country/folk band. The biggest benefit is being able to walk around the venue during our sound check to get a good mix. Before using these, I would temporarily connect a 50’ extension cable to my instrument cable to get out in front and listen. I haven’t had connection issues out to 75 feet. I’ve never had an interference or sound quality issue. Then of course there’s the freedom from a cable on stage. They’re worth trying if you’ve never tried a wireless system.
