The product was well packaged on arrival. The parts are neatly tucked between foam packing dividers (see images) which did a great job in preventing any damages during shipment.Upon opening the box, it was clear that this product required assembly before usage. I was hoping that all the tools required to assemble were included so that I didn't have to bring out my toolkit. This product didn't disappoint.In the box, there is a bag with 6 hex screws (4 required for assembly and 2 spare). The bag also came with a hex key for assembly. Putting the stand together was as simple as lining up the extruded parts to the base with the slots of the pillar. Once lines up, you just screw the hex screws with the included hex key in the corresponding holes. The instruction sheet is very clear on assembly, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out. The steps for the laptop holder/panel is the same. Just line it up, and screw in the hex bolts. It's that simple.Build quality is very impressive. The full body is made of metal. There are no issues such as flexing in the metal plates. The base has rubber contacts which help grip the stand to the desk as well as protect the desk from rubbing against the metal. The laptop holder also has thick rubber contacts which leave me confident in placing my laptop on top of. The stand is height adjustable with a thumbscrew on the back. The screw-head is plastic but still of good quality. The adjustment screw has ridges which make it easier to grip on to whilst turning. The metal has a nice, smooth finish to it. The laptop I have tested this product with has a 15.6" display and weighs around 2.4kg. This stand had zero issues with this laptop. Overall, I am very pleased with this product's build quality, functionality and aesthetic. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a height-adjustable stand for their laptop to correct their posture, or for anyone who wants to make use of more workspace by elevating their laptop.

Having worked from home for the last 4 years I wish I had got this stand sooner. Having your laptop at eye line height makes such a huge difference. The stand looks good, is very sturdy (I have a pretty heavy/bulky laptop) and can be adjusted to various different heights.

Surface to bottom of laptop (true maximum raise) 14cm at the front, 19.5cm at the rearBase WxD=22.5x19.5cm (15cm from base of pillar to front)Top WxD=29.5x24.5cm (19.5cm space between limbs, each limb 5cm width)Thickness of material about 3mmPlus- easy to assemble (small allen key included plus 2 spare screws)- sturdy and stable (has some elasticity but in normal usec-typing- it feels totally stable)- good size 29+cm width is almost as wide as my 14 inch laptop- looks good- good feel of adjusting screw (soft stop)- seems like good quality material and finish and all metal construction- it should last forever- convenient and easy to use space under top to store (papers, pbone, mouse, box, full headphones etc)Minus- no tilt adjustment and no rotation (not really an issue but could be a problem for someone with very specific needs)- it covers partially my speakers and air intake- no cable management options (a couple of slots to run a tie wrap or a velcro strap would be nice)- lightweight material but not lightweight contruct- will not fold flat, can be easily disassembled but not really portable, it is a permanent standIt feels so good I am trying to justify buying a second one.

This laptop stand is ideal for my home office. I have a separate screen, laptop and mouse - and this lifts my laptop up so it is a good height for my eyeline. It's adjustable too - a friend who is far shorter has the same model and is pleased too. It's simple to put together - the allen key is in the box - and easy to adjust.
Sturdy with adjustable height
I found myself in the market for a laptop stand, when I realized I was doing a lot of slouching in my chair due to the height of my laptop sitting on my desk. Utilizing a stand would allow me to bring it up to an ergonomic height. I searched for a while until I came across the BoYata Laptop Stand. What a great find! It's super sturdy and arrived quickly. My laptop is 15.6 inches and not the lightest, and this stand handles it with no problem. It has a wide base, making it feel super secure and the adjustable knob at the back allows me to get it to just the right height. I also love the slight angle that it sits at, which allows me to type on the keyboard comfortably. I liked it so much I bought two! All in all a great buy.
Simply works
This stand is super simple and works well.It feels very strong, and very durable. I don’t worry about the durability at all. It clearly could hold much heavier than my laptop.It has strips on it to keep the laptop from sliding, and curved edges at the bottom as well.The center of gravity is obviously higher with this, but it feels very secure.The height works great for me, and I’m grateful not to have to look down to my laptop anymore.You will not want to type on a laptop while it is on this - very uncomfortable. Need a detached keyboard, in my opinion.The color is nice and meshes well with my setup!
Great inexpensive stand, perfect for MacBook Pro 16"
Great stand. Easy to assemble, took like 2 minutes. Sturdy! If I wanted to, I could type on my macbook pro 16" while on the stand with minimal shake (but of course it's much more ergonomic with an external keyboard). Has saved my neck when I work at my desk! Love that the height is adjustable. Well made item and super happy with it. Also looks good on my desk. 5 stars!
