5.0 out of 5 stars Preferring it over nordic fishoil i used to get.
The anti drip attachment inside the bottle cap is a nice addition.Otherwise it tastes as expected, lemon flavoured fish oil. Tastes almost identical to nordic supplements range. The people complaining about a terrible taste may of got a bad batch, but mine is totally fine. Will probably go with this one again for my omega 3.
5.0 out of 5 stars quite a good taste , suitable to take every day

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality fish oil. Great for people who have issues swallowing soft gel capsules.
I have tried an awful lot of Omega-3 supplements over the years. This one from Barefoot Nutrition comes in flavoured oil form rather than the more usual capsules. As someone who often struggles with the more common soft gel capsules this format offers significant appeal, as I don't really want to choke while taking my daily Omega-3. The flavouring does a reasonable job of making this more palatable and this particular product seems to have a lighter texture than other oils I have tried, so as well as the off-putting fishiness it also largely avoids that oily mouthfeel, which may put some people off.The key things to look for with regard to the Omega-3 supplements are the levels of EPA and DHA that they contain. Many products seems to represent good value at first glance, but don't actually deliver the level of potential health benefits that you think they might. Ideally, you should be looking for Omega-3 supplements that deliver a daily combined dose of around 1000mg of EPA and DHA .The suggested daily intake of this supplement is 5ml (one teaspoon), which would deliver 740-860mg EPA and 460-550mg DHA, so a combined total of 1200-1410mg, which is just what you should be looking for.But how does the cost of this product does not stack up? The bottle contains 500ml, so taking 5ml per day at the current cost of £19.79 equates to a daily cost of about 20p. I have tried and reviewed other very good products on here that also deliver a combined dose of EPA & DHA of 1000mg or more, but that do so with a daily cost of less than that amount - but I have also come across others that cost quite a bit more per day, so this one probably sits somewhere in the mid-range, although this 500ml size is certainly better value than the 250ml variants I have come across. This is certainly a product that would appeal to me as I would prefer not to have to suffer the traumatic experience of trying to swallow soft gel capsules every day. Although I could get some (but not all) good quality capsules at a lower daily cost than this oil, I would consider this to be a reasonable price and certainly not extortionate.I hope you find these comments helpful.
4.0 out of 5 stars High Quality But Terrible Taste
High quality fish oil and great value for money at 500ml, for only £20.00.Only drawback is the taste which is absolutely dreadful.
5.0 out of 5 stars If omega pills make you burb! This is a great product!
Easy to digest with food. Tastes pleasant enough. And don’t have the same issues that I had with cod liver oil and other omega tablets that repeated on me all day!
5.0 out of 5 stars I’ll buy again
They have done a good job to get rid of the after taste, although of course it’s going to feel weird after drinking but as long as you have some juice or gum after you’re good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant product! Pure and natural! Excellent value!
I have researched and used a lot of various omega 3 brands in the past. It is necessary for balancing the negative affects of omega 6 in our diets, heart health, joints, blood pressure, gut heath, immune system, kids' brain health etc. The whole family has always taken it. When this came on the market I was delighted, as it has pretty much the same DHA and EPA as the Nordic oil we were taking, but this is significantly cheaper! The taste is very pure and less fishy too. Certainly needs to be kept in the fridge though.I trust this company as they seem to be clued up on not using nasty fillers, shells and bulking agents in their products. Would highly recommend this!... unfortunately though they've just hiked the price up £10 from £18 to £28!!! A sad event making it no longer affordable! ***UPDATE! Price is back down to £19.99 so affordable again! Phew! Let's hope it stays down, I know the company had supply issues for a few months so that must have been the reason.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality oil
This was far more palatable and digestible than some reviewers have indicated.Someone mentioned good sleep, and after two days I can report mine has improved - deeper and longer. Long may this continue after recent years of light/broken sleep. Some joint pain appears lessened and I feel a little sharper mentally. Way too soon to report all benefits, but just wanted to say all in all I am extremely pleasantly surprised. I went through a krill phase for years, then tried vegan alternative, then to be honest was so busy I totally overlooked taking any supplements. But just come back to fish oil for time being at least, and am not disappointed thus far with this brand quality and price.
