5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice quality very fine black gell pens that are comfortable and write well
This is a pack of six black ink gell pens that write very smoothly and dry extremely fast. The writing and line work is very fine at 0.35mm. I found on a ramge of paper and cardboard that the lines and text dried very quickly without bleeding nor smudging. After several hours of use i liked how comfortab.e they also felt and didnt experience personally any fatige from their use. I would certainly buy them again and happy to recommend. Andrew
5.0 out of 5 stars The best fine nib gel pens
When box of pens has arrived I though they are probably average quality, nothing special.. until i tried them.. wow, mind blowing how slim the nib is and how nicely it writes.. i can write tiny letters and they dont become big dots, but actual letters.. The nib is extra slim and I'm very impressed by the quality of these pens. The ink doesnt smudge at all even when I rub the letters I just wrote. The body of the pen is strong, really well made.At first, the sticker put me away for a bit but I managed to remove one with a bit of strength and pen now looks simple but luxurious. My little habit is to unscrew the pen to the parts and I have found the black tube which is unnecessary there, I removed it so now I can see how much ink left inside.. ;) I will keep it that way.The price of the pens seems be high at first, but when I held in hand and started to write something, I noticed that quality and comfort is here so I'm not complaining about the price any more.I can highly recommend these pens, they are fantastic!
4.0 out of 5 stars It's a fine line...
I immediately used these for handwriting and they performed well in terms of ink performance (no need to pilot lines to draw the ink out, they worked pretty much immediately), and also in terms of consistency - there were no blobs, no variations in ink-flow, etc. The ink dried almost instantly, as a left-hander - this is real benefit as it means I don't smudge and stain my hand hand as it inevitably trails over the ink. There were quite scratchy though, these certainly aren't great for long pages of notes. But I don't think these are targeted as handwriting pens, to be honest, I think 0.35mm is too fine for handwriting anyway. For art these are great, the quick drying and the fine lines mean that these can be used with absolutely no ink bleed and are superb for capturing detail which a thicker line simply wouldn't be able to achieve. This is a box of 12 and all are 0.35mm, I've had boxes of mixed thickness pens in the past and found that relied only only one or two thicknesses anyway so 12 the same is good. The ink reservoir is pretty big and well-filled. I've had cheaper pens which felt fine but ran out quickly, but these should last a "regular" time and aren't budget pens with an inflated price. In a nutshell: not the best for writing, but for art these fineliners are great. A bit scratchy/abrasive feeling, especially if you're used to digital art using a pen stylus, but the ink dries instantly making it almost impossible to smudge.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice to write with, comfortable to hold and the lid fits both ends of the pen.
So far at around three weeks of using I'm actually really impressed with these pens. They have a decent barrel size which I find more comfortable to hold and use compared to the super slim barrel variety. The lid fits well on the top and on the bottom of the pens, this is important to me as I have a habit of losing pen lids and then they tend to dry out rather quickly. These pens do not leak. The nib size is 0.35 mm and the ink colour is black. I have found that these pens are a joy to write with ... they do not scratch nor do they smudge if you allow the ink one or two seconds to dry. Also when writing on 90 gsm paper there has been no bleed or even show through. The price of £13.98 (price correct at the time of this review) for twelve pens is a bargain.Thank you for reading and I hope you have found my review helpful
3.0 out of 5 stars Scratchy feel unexpected for a rollerball
The barrel has quite a bit of Chinese text on it, which is not much help unless you can read Chinese. I expect gel rollerballs to have a smooth feel when writing, but these feel a bit scratchy, almost like writing with a Rapidograph. Expensive for the results.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent - writes just as well as the 'cult' favourites
Always love a good fine point pen - one that has accuracy but writes as smoothly as a broad tip. This does that well.HOW IT COMPARES:When reviewing I compared it to my two favourite fine point gel pens:Uniball Signo DX 0.38mmPilot G-Tec-C4 0.4mmThe Pilot G-Tec-C4 for me is still the best fine/needlepoint pen you can buy, just great to write and draw with, always feels like a proper tool. The Signo DX is also excellent and I would say it just nudges into second best for me. It's always smooth and a great all-rounder.But really, the difference between those two and these 'BELMP' branded pens are so minor you probably wouldn't notice it.What you would notice is the price difference though - the Pilot and Signo pens are usually between £3 and £4 each and not always easy to find. Priced £14 at time of review, of that makes these just over £1 each. They definitely perform just as well as the 3 to 4 times more expensive 'established' competition.I would very much reccomend, and I won't be needed to hunt for any pilots or Uniballs soon - I'll be working my way through these 12 quite happily
5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Brilliant!
I ordered these on a whim as we wanted to try a bit of calligraphy and we needed more pens anyway: - The pens came in some smart packaging and neatly arranged. - The have the nib size on the top of the lid. The pens themselves look super smart. - They are really comfortable to grip and use. - Calligraphy is so easy with these pens! They can write with such a fine detail and get the wider parts of some of the letters just as easy. - The nib sounds a bit scratchy on the paper, but it is incredibly fine so it happens with all pens. - The ink is weirdly and brilliantly water resistant! I accidentally spilled my drink over the practice paper I was writing on with these pens and the ink didn't run at all!I would definitely recommend these! They are far better than I ever thought and brilliant to use!
Writes like a dream
I LOVED THIS PRODUCT! I find myself wanting smaller and smaller tip sizes for pens and found these, I like how they look and they write very smoothly. They don’t smudge and when I used a easily smudging highlighter it did not smudge at all! Probably due to the tip size. Usually it writes smoothly but sometimes it does skip a bit but only for a short time maybe a few seconds and it doesn’t happen often. These are good value for money and I will definitely be buying more!
Smooth & doesn’t smudge
Love these pens. You get a lot of pens for the cost. They write very smoothly, they dont smudge, and are very pigmented!
Tinte trocknet schnell
