    I bought this to replace my old tripod which broke after a year (thread attaching it to the phone holder was plastic and snapped). It is a totally different beast, in fact it is a beast compared to my old one which cost £10.99, so £2 less.The legs are very sturdy and I expect it could cope with a DSLR, so if you're concerned about it coping with a large Pro phone you'll have no problem. The two vital components (ball that enables it to rotate and tilt, and the thread that you either screw into the base of a camera or use to attached a phone holder) are both metal, so they're robust. The plastic parts are also chunky and feel very robust. The legs are double the thickness of my old tripod which is what gives it its excellent rigidity.Amazingly, the remote control worked without a glitch and I didn't even read the instructions. I turned it on and a blue light flashed, which I took to be pairing mode, went to my phone's Bluetooth setting, found it and connected. Then I switched to camera and it worked perfectly. The remote also has two buttons; one marked iOS and the other Android. I'm on iOS so I can't say whether the Android connection is as simple. The remote doesn't seem as robust at the stand itself and it has an on/off switch so make sure you switch it off after use as I expect if you don't you'll come back to use it in the future and it will be out of juice - it takes a coin battery.The only bit I didn't particularly like was the phone holder. It only has one mounting thread, located at the end, which holds the phone in landscape mode. You then have to articulate the ball joint to get it into portrait mode, but that positions the phone off-centre...which irritates me. It's not a problem for me though. I had the same problem with my old tripod so bought a separate phone holder that has a mounting thread at one end and also in the middle. This is why I've marked it down on versatility. If it had two mounting points I'd give it a 5 star rating. This is possibly a minor niggle for most but I use these tripods to hold my phone on my desk and when doing tasks such as online banking and making calls, I much prefer to have my phone central on the tripod and in portrait mode.All in all a great product. and in my view a bargain at £12.99. This is not a paid or incentivised review. In fact the reason I leave reviews is because there are so many paid or incentivised reviews around and I get very, very irritated having to return an item because the reviews were so off point. It also irritates me when a good product builds up a load of good reviews and then the seller switches the product for a lesser quality item.

    Small and very portable tripod which works with iphone but only in landscape as it can't hold the weight otherwise which is frustrating as I take all my photos portrait. The bluetooth clicker is useful to take photos without needing a timer.

    Ich habe mir dieses Stativ bereits zum zweiten Mal gekauft, weil ich so überzeugt davon bin!Es steht stabil oder lässt sich durch die flexiblen Arme fest aufhängen - es wackelt nicht!Befestigen lassen sich durch verschiedene Adapter am Stativ sowohl das Smartphone als auch die Kamera.Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die mitgelieferte Fernbedienung als Auslöser. Diese wird per Bluetooth verbunden und funktioniert verlässlich.Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!
