5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Sound
Very easy to set up. Download Google home app and then the Bang&Olufsen app and you are in full control of it.The sound is superb as you’d expect from B&O and I agree with the earlier review that there’s less bass than the Bose systems, which I prefer when listening to dialogue in a film. The Bluetooth function for playing music is excellent and if you want, you can control the bass and treble via the app on your phone. The sound, listening to music is spectacular too.It is heavy but the metal surround gives it a high quality look and feel. We’ve got to the point where we spend time hiding speakers but this is a stunningly, sleek and well designed piece and you want to look at it front and centre.Very happy with my purchase. Can’t fault it.
1.0 out of 5 stars Connectivity is a joke
Sound quality is amazing ... but extremely flaky connection to WiFi. Constantly having to fiddle with it in order to play music to it from my phone. Reset to factory setting and re-install, turn it off and on at the plug etc etc... its a constant faff. I have two other B&O speakers that are never a problem. Not what I'd expect for the money I paid.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
Great quality soundbar. Easy to setup and use. The sound is spot on and definitely worth the money.
3.0 out of 5 stars It's a beauty and beast
Bought on sale for £1099.Pros:* Aesthetically pleasing* All in one solution* Bluetooth and Apple Airplay support* Minimalist designCons:* Expensive (even at the sale price)* Sonos Arc alone sounds better* No remote - additional £300 if you want the Beoremote One* Horrible, minimalistic app - this is either arrogance or incompetence or both* Nightmare to set up initially* No voice support* No Spotify* No instruction manual online or otherwise >.<Recommendation: Watch the YouTube review by Smart Home SoundsThis is a disappointing product, it took me over an hour to set it up with Google Home, the B&O app wouldn't find it. I ended up just treating it as a dumb BT speaker and played a few songs from Spotify, sound was decent, not exceptional (you have to tweak the EQ in said app that I couldn't get working initially).I have an ethernet cable connected to it along with HDMI Arc but for some reason, when the pairing with the B&O app finally worked and then adding to Google Home, it totally ignores the [working] network cable attached and asks me to configure wifi, so what is the ethernet port for - I wouldn't know because there are no instructions. There is no future-proofing with the lack of voice support, I wasn't a big fan of Alexa/Google Home initially but with a few Sonos Arc systems around the house, it is handy to just ask 'her' to play my Spotify playlist (which this Beosound does not support), and to ask 'her' to change the volume rather than the old fashioned way of unlocking your phone, open the Spotify app and turning the volume down. If you are listening to TuneIn, you have to use the B&O app to turn down the volume or do it on the Beosound itself. If you want a sound bar just for TV and don't mind old school BT/Airplay, this is great though there are better value sound bars out there. This would look great in an Air BNB or luxury hotel, it looks great wall mounted and screams of luxury. If you want to use it for music, it could get annoying because, as we are all working from home more now, we tend to carry our phones with us when we leave the room (to make coffee for example) - this will stop your music when it is out of range and you'll have to reconnect. There are better sound bars out there, this is why:1) There aren't many reviews on this and other shopping sites2) There aren't many people covering it on YouTube
2.0 out of 5 stars More bang for your buck almost
This is superb. I had a Bose 700 + Bose sub+Bose surround speakers and this out performs them by a long way. Dolby atmos is fantastic coming out of one unit and playing music through it is a dream so clear but still with bass quality highly recommended.update replaces with Sonos arc plus sub plus surrounds which completely blow the stage out of the water.there is no comparison with the Sonos sound being the best that I’ve ever heard. The Sonos app is fantastic, I have also had the Bose 700 system and once again the Sonos system is better than the Bose,The Bose can get very muddy on the bass even with the equaliser. So all in all the Sonos is number one with the stage second but a long way behind and the Bose third. Returned the stage. Returned after a month .the soundbar need reconnecting to the app time and time again which is disappointing and unusable.
5.0 out of 5 stars The Beosound Stage Soundbar
It's to wide and big apart from that the beosound stage is the best soundbar that I've had so far it was well worth the price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best money I’ve ever spent.
The media could not be loaded. The Beosound stage sounds and looks fantastic. It’s pretty easy to fit with a template which is included to help you fit it directly below your tv. I will warn you though, that it’s very heavy(8kg) so you might need help with the lifting it onto the wall. The sound quality is amazing and it’s very easy to cast from Spotify and Apple Music. You will need to download the B&O app to get started, but it gives you clear and easy instructions on how to set it up. You will also need to download the Google home app in order to configure it and connect it to WiFi.The sound quality is amazing and you can select different sound modes...TV, Music and Night listening. Even though it’s quite costly, you won’t be disappointed, it’s excellent quality and in my opinion great value for money.
