I bought this to quickly test the temperature of bulk milk and I’ve not been disappointed. It’s far more robust and leagues faster than any previous device I’ve used for this job. Milk needs to be cooled quickly and kept at around 4C and regularly double-checked, the primary device being the tank’s own thermometer. It is also used daily to check that wash caustic water exits the plant at 80C. This is the primary device for this purpose.Since it works well in this industrial environment, there is no doubting its effectiveness in any kitchen.

It is easy to use, I uses when I am tempering chocolate. It gives accurate readings. I like the design as it is small. AAA battery and a screwdriver was supplied by the seller which is excellent.
