Beware the strap is quite long and broke after a number of weeks of wearing. Luckily it broke close to a hole so it was easy to cut and make smaller. The recipient of the gift wears it 24/7, in bed and bath! Helping his maths no end.

This was bought for my 7 year old who always wants to know the time and track her step count.This is pretty much the same as the normal fitbit but has a range of images to pick from to make it a big more child friendly.It's easy to use and you can link it to the normal fitbit app on the parents phones.Only downside is the battery life is a little short.

It is impossible to set up for a child, despite being designed for a child.It insists you have a Google (Gmail) account for a child, that you must set up using the 'Google Family Link' app. When you come to try to sign in to the FitBit app, it won't allow you to set it up for a child that is managed by Google Family Link, yet it had forced me to do that in the fist place! If you sign in with an adults account, and then try to add the child as a family member (by going to YOU -->FAMILY -->) it will tell you that you have to sign out and sign in with their account, and again you are blocked as the account is managed by the Google Family Link. I changed all settings for the child's account in Family Link to not ask for any permission, still the same problem. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, every combo possible including iOS and Android. A Google search revealed that everybody is having the same issue. This is being returned. It's a zero star as it's 100% unusable

Did not sync to app at start. But software update at start of September 24 has resolved syncing issues. Working well now.

Got this for my 9yo son as he needed to move around a bit more, plus he has a late night reading habit. Now he thinks I can spy on him by looking at the app and so he has stopped reading all night long. The fitbit has also encouraged him to do as many steps as he can which otherwise can be a challenge!

Great product. Quite complicated to set up on Fitbit app because of an existing device. A parent account won't allow full access so we set up the child account on an old device to get around the issues. Fitbit need to be clearer on the issues because a lot of reviewers have had similar issues

My 7 year old daughter loves this product, it works really well, is easy for her to use and the battery life is really good.The only negative is that setup was a real pain. The challenge was adding my daughter as a child to my Google Account. In the end I gave up doing it on my phone and ended up needing to do it all on a different device and it seemed to just work.So in summary, amazing product but difficult to setup!
Awesome watch for kids
This is a wonderful watch for kids that shows them how much moving around they do daily as well as when they should go to bed (the minion starts yawning, it’s super cute!). Parents also have the option of programming alarms to wake up or to prepare for an activity. Great to teach your child to be more independent.
Fantastic watch for kids
I bought it for my eight years old grandson and he is fascinated, he loves that he can go swimming with it on, and he challenges me and his dad who has an Apple watch to see who walks more steps, he loves it,

The media could not be loaded. Mi hija quería tener una banda como reloj, así que la adquirida a más del 50% de descuento, pese a ser edición Minion se ve lindo, lo tengo sincronizado a su tableta, lo único que me hubiera gustado es que se pudiera poner el reloj en 12 horas y no en formato de 24, fuera de ello, todo perfecto: el envío, el empaque, el precio y la entrega
Setting it up
People have had many issues setting up the family account and just send it back after not solving the problem. I had the same problem, but all you have to do it make sure your kids account is on your kids phone and make sure you have the fit bit app on theirs, set up and ready, if you do then you should have no problem setting everything up. Overall it is a great watch to have. I bought it for my little sister for her birthday and she’s loved it ever since. 10/10 But after a while of them growing up with the fit bit just buy them an Apple Watch.
My Child Loves Their Fitbit: Worth the $$
My mother and I have Fitbits. My daughter who was 4 at the time became very interested in having her own. My mother then tried purchasing other step trackers for children. Unfortunately they were not as durable or size friendly. They broke easily or began to malfunction. Finally I bit the bullet and got the Fitbit for her. I love having our info together on the same app. As an educator, this has helped my child learn to read large numbers in the thousands and ten-thousands. I am not exaggerating when I say that she can read large numbers better than some of my 6th grade math students. My daughter finds the Minions amusing, and gets a kick out of the Fitbit saying, "Feed me". Not only do we have a friendly competition going on amongst our family, but my daughter is also in competition with her Kindergarten teacher who also has a step tracker. A couple of her classmates became interested to the point where they convinced their parents to purchase step trackers as well.My daughter's favorite feature is the water lock. She can use this when she goes to swim practice or when she's in the shower.In hindsight the Fitbit should've been the first purchase. I would tell anyone, just spend the extra$ and go with Fitbit. It has been more than worth it.
