Stupidly overfilled my car with engine oil. This undoubtedly saved my car and saved me so much money in repairs. Simple instructions, easy to use, removed the excess oil with no issues. Make sure you get your engine warm in order for it to work best, but turn the car off before it all gets too hot to avoid the plastic tubing melting.Overall a decent product

Great product. Was initially unsure about purchasing as it had some mixed reviews but it worked brilliantly. It pumped out 3l of oil within 5 minutes from my car. Very easy to set up and use. Just make sure you bring the car to operating temperature so the oil is warm before you start. For the price this was a great buy. Would definitely recommend. Just completed an oil change for the cost of the parts alone. Great saving.

Have just used it to change the oil on a new B&S engine on a Hayter mower. The ambient temperature was 25C and I only ran the mower for about 3 mins to warm the oil further - should have run it for a couple more minutes.The pump was v easy to use, it pulled the oil out of the filler tube steadily but slowly: it but took about 5 mins to suck out just over 1/2 litre of oil - hence comment above.The thinner, suction tube is 6mm diameter, yes fine for 'dipstick' tube on a car, but probably gives an indication that the pump is not fast.It did what I wanted it for - changing lawnmower oil - and I am happy with it.If the sellers/manufactures read this, a suggestion. There are blanking caps on the pump; the out hose has a nozzle, on which the other end of the hose fits; it would be great if there was a similar fitting to 'seal' both ends of the suction hose after use. Oil lingers in tubes and no one wants a mess during storage.

I bought this because I couldn't get the sump plug off for an oil change, this worked absolutely great I got 75% of the oil out through the dipstick with this pump with a bit of adjustment with the suction hose.So from my perspective it worked absolutely great excellent piece of kit for the job at hand and reasonably priced.

This pump saved me after a gorilla tightened my sump plug to 900 ft/lb! Worked perfect, emptied the sump in a few minutes. Not sure what people are doing wrong.I primed the pump with a little oil and tapered the end of the inlet pipe. And like any oil change warm engine/oil.Makes an oil change a 10 min job, less time than removing the under tay alone!

The media could not be loaded. Well, I did everything by textbook. There are instructions coming with it so I watched the video here. Suction is weak. Low compression so it's not definitely 3 liters per minute. Hoses are fragile. Suction hose easily bending down the sump whilst the extraction hose is too stubborn. It does the job if you're desperate enough.

This thing couldn't suck a fart out of a paper bag - took it almost half an hour to remove 2ltr of very warm oil - I got bored with it in the end and drained the oil the old fashioned & reliable way..don't waste your money.. I have had to give it one star to leave the review - I;d rather not put any star but it wouldn't let me
5.0 out of 5 stars Sucks… but in a good way
Straight forward to use, connect tubes, small tube down the dipstick hole and big tube into a suitable container.I took the car on a short run just before to warm up the oil and make it easier to flow, this also means any debris in the oil is still flowing round too making it easier to extract.My car takes 5.2 litres of oil and I managed to extract 5.2 litres give or take say 50ml. I made sure to shake the tube around and move it in and out of the dipstick tube in order to get everything.Definitely a good way to change oil, I’ll probably alternate between this and using the sump plug every couple of years just to get any remaining sludge out properly.I’d recommend pouring a little bit of oil into the pump inlet before piping up and switching on just so the pump has some initial lubrication as it uses the oil it’s pumping to lubricate itself, it’s not necessary but will prolong the life of the unit.

Funktioniert besser als erwartet
Es wurde ein Ölwechsel an einem Mercedes mit 220 CDI-Motor (OM651) vorgenommen. Das Öl war noch heiß und die Pumpe hat die 6,.. Liter Öl in ca. 15 Minuten problemlos abgepumpt. Einfacher geht es nicht. Wenn die Pumpen-Lebensdauer jetzt auch noch mehrere Ölwechsel übersteht, bin ich uneingeschränkt zufrieden.
