Like the only other reviewer said on here at the time of writing, I too took a chance on this even though it did not have many reviews yet.And I did not regret it. Ngl, they look beautiful, and like the other reviewer said, "chunky". There is a certain earthiness about eating off stoneware plates. It feels very homely. The ripple effect design adds a certain vintage touch to it.Delivery:Delivery was good. Everything was packaged well, protected in individual cardboard boxes, encased within a sturdy branded box and then further protected within an Bolo box with more lining and a big red "FRAGILE" sticker at the front to ensure it was delivered and handled well. Everything arrived in perfect condition and nothing was broken - which was my biggest worry.Mugs:The set contains 4 mugs. They are larger that I had expected, which is good thing. They hold a generous cup of coffee / tea. And can I just say that coffee in this thing looks beautiful in the morning. I don't know why but it does. It has quite a generous lip, so drinking from it feels "fuller" and satisfying. Because of its size, I can see myself making cuppa soup in this. They hold heat very well. The round shape fits around your hands nicely so that you can hold the mug in both hands to keep your hands warm whilst slurping hot choc or something. The handles are thick and sturdy.Bowls:There are 4 bowls. We've used this for breakfast in the morning. The bowls are a decent size, they have got slightly higher walls than our old Wilko bowls, which I prefer, makes it easier to get out of the microwave. They microwave fine. We also used them for dinner, had rice and curry the other day and the bowls make eating feel homely and well portioned.Small PlatesThe set contains 4 small plates. Had chocolate cake on it and the ripple-effect on a speckled cream background elevated our basic supermarket choc cake and made it look insta-ready. Don't know why but it does. Small plates were a good size, not annoyingly small. A good size for a chunky slice of cake. I'll use them as tapas plates too.Large PlatesThere were 4 large plates. Thick, sturdy plates. I love the rim / wall around it. Prevents food from falling off the plate while you eat. Good size, will fit a full english or steak and all the trimmings fine. Bit too large to fit neatly and stand on its own in our compact Ikea Hultarp dish-drainer, but was able lean them, so they're fine. They look good on the shelves. They make food look good too.OverallDurable stoneware. This is going to last for awhile. Looks beautiful. Makes eating and drinking feel homely. Total Scandinavian hygge vibes.

I really like this dinner set, everything is well sized. The plates fit in our dishwasher without a problem. I couldn’t find pasta bowls in the range but bought a similar colour from a different company. Unfortunately, they do leave slight scratch marks if using a knife on them.

The set I got do have quite a few imperfections and glazing defects as many other reviews mentioned, but overall they're nice and I'm happy enough with the quality, you can't expect Denby level finishes when you're paying 1/4 the priceAre these any better than a set you could pick up from somewhere like Asda? Hard to sayThey're not as hard to clean as I thought they might be with the right angle lip, if anything actually they're easier to hold when hand washing. Did have to get a new drying rack because the tall lip wouldn't fit in my old one. Not sure how well they would do in a diswasher.

Can't get anyone to tell me they can send me a replacement plate for the broken one . They want the whole set back !!! Box in bin . I wish the days were back when you just got another plate !!!! The set in beautiful just what I wanted . (Intact )

It is a nice set of crockery, but when you inspect it there are imperfections - thicker and thinner areas of the material, what looks like paint drips on them, small dents (not chips, just dents) that bring the perceived quality of the set down

Plates arrived on time and packaged really well, no damage to any of them. True to product image, they look great, they’re thick and have a really nice feel to them.

Das Geschirr sieht sehr hochwertig aus. Leider hat es kleiner Mängel wie Macken oder Verfärbungen.Würde es dennoch erneut kaufen.
