I looked for a velvetiser/froth maker for hours, going through reviews of cheap as well as famous brands. I finally landed on this one even though I had never heard of the make before. We have had it for a month now, my partner uses it every morning for his coffee, I occasionally have a hot chocolate in the evenings, and it is still going. It is so silent, simple and efficient! It works very well with non-dairy milks too. As per the instructions, wash and wipe it at every use and cleaning is a doddle. Really impressed. If I have to find a fault with this, I will say it unfortunately only makes enough for 1 mug at a time.

Makes wonderful coffees and the hot chocolate is so smooth! We bought this as a Christmas gift to ourselves! Glad we did. Good value!

This is a great little machine - it does everything you'd want it to, is super-easy to use, and it makes fantastic hot chocolate. However, it just stopped working after only six uses! I don't want to risk it happening with a replacement so I'm returning it for a refund. Such a shame but there's obviously something not right with these machines as I've noticed another review saying the same thing.

I thought this looked like a good option to replace our old Hostess frother that finally died after 8 years of sterling service. Alas, whoever designed it clearly had no intention of ever using it. Our old frother had a removable jug that could be put in the dishwasher or in the sink to be cleaned, making it quick and easy to clean it thoroughly - pretty important with something that you use everyday. This one has the electrical mechanism in the jug itself, so it can't be immersed in water.The min/max lines are virtually impossible to see, and if you go a smidgen over the max (which is just enough for 1 cup of coffee, not two), the milk gets forced out of the spout and all over everywhere.On the plus side, the froth is pretty decent, it looks good and is very quiet to run (apart from unnecessary beeping to tell you it's on/off/finished frothing). It doesn't take up much room on the counter.But the fact it can't be easily cleaned is a major pain.

My granddaughter loves hot chocolate and I can make her a cup in this frother that is the right temperature for her every time. It is very easy to use and includes 2 stirrers to make a smooth or frothy hot chocolate. There is also the option for a cold milkshake which will be great in the summer. The inside is non stick and easy to clean

I bought this to make velvety hot chocolate and it does that - one big problem though - after a couple of months of use, it has stopped working properly - the stirrer stops stirring and the only way to get it going again is to switch it off, wait a few seconds, then switch it on again. I can’t be bothered to return it so will just put up with it. It is also not that easy to clean - you always end up with burnt milk at the bottom of the pot, which is difficult to remove, especially as you can’t immerse the pot in water due to it being electric. They should include some kind of cleaning brush or sponge in the box to make the job easier.
