5.0 out of 5 stars Good Coffee; Good Value
A pleasant coffee. I had to try this one, since I wanted to find out why a San Francisco company would sell a Welsh Blend coffee. Sadly, I have not yet found out, but I am still enjoying the coffee.
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice coffee
Nice coffee but too expensive price goes up and down
5.0 out of 5 stars This coffee is, quite simply, amazing.
Nothing quite compares to the energising scent and tantalising taste of a well-brewed cup of coffee. From the first moment you open the bag of Colombia Supremo, you are greeted with the irresistible aroma of the freshly roasted beans. Well, obviously these beans are not super freshly roasted, but the sensory experience is almost as satisfying as the coffee itself, signalling the extraordinary taste that awaits you. The beans smell incredible, promising a flavour profile that is indeed delivered upon brewing. The Colombia Supremo is a smooth, medium-roast coffee that encapsulates the very essence of the Colombian coffee tradition. Each cup brewed from these beans is free of bitterness, full of rich flavour, and crowned with a lovely crema that speaks to its high quality. The remarkable taste profile of this coffee is accentuated by delightful notes of rich caramel. This subtle sweetness harmoniously balances the depth of the coffee, creating a complex yet easy-drinking brew. It’s a unique taste sensation that sets this coffee apart and leaves you longing for the next cup. It's an absolute must-try for coffee connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike. This coffee is, quite simply, amazing.
5.0 out of 5 stars nice and smooth
Love the flavor
3.0 out of 5 stars inoffensive taste, just not that memorable
A decent coffee.... nothing special
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value
Great quality of this coffee was a pleasant surprise. At £11-ish /kg this has to be one of the best value all-purpose bag of beans around. Makes a thick and creamy espresso which also translates to very nice americano or capuccino.
4.0 out of 5 stars pleasantly surprised
At £7.49 for almost 1 kilo of Columbian coffee beans, what's not to like!I usually buy 'fresh' at around £15+ a bag - and wasn't expecting much at such a budget price. On first inspection, the beans looked fairly oily - so was hesitant to grind in my premium grinder.Used my first batch in a Moccamaster - and was pleasantly surprised at the taste - which had loads of flavour. Not idea when these were roasted (if that matters really) but for the price, it can't be beaten.Haven't tried in my espresso machine - with a much finer grind yet - but doubt it would disappoint.I usually go for a light roast, that have been freshly roasted - but if you like filter coffee, you won't be disappointed.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent coffee
Bought the Colombia Supremo. I really like it and will buy again. Lovely flavour and it’s very good value. I grind it quite fine and brew in my Aeropress. Soak the ground coffee in just enough 80C ish water for about 30 seconds, then water up to number 1 or 2 depending on whether used one or two scoops, stir and put plunger in at an angle and pull up. Doing this, either none or very little water gets through. I leave for two or three minutes then plunge and add warm milk foam. Delicious.
Cafe muy bueno, pero tarada la entrega!!
El producto es muy bueno, pero es muy caro!!!
Five Stars
yummy
Great Value
Great aroma and flavour without high acidity.
Not Bad if Price Conscious, Far From Great
This purchase was motivated by price with expectations tempered by reviews. The good: well within the best-by date; not stale; no crazy off flavors. The not-so-good: over-roasted, I'd call this an oil slick roast; seriously lacking in depth of flavor. This a flat coffee, like no dimension, a kind of burnt flavor is the total flavor. Weird. I do find it drinkable, because I really like french roast, and I prefer a burnt roast to a light roast (call me a heathen, I can take it). My preference is for a textured, lightly acidic, dark roast. That"s not this. If I didn't need to watch pennies I'd be disappointed, but for 50 cents an ounce and a dark roast that isn't stale or impossibly bitter I'm grateful.A lot of reviews mention the clear bag. Yeah, not a great idea, OTH, lotta brands out there sell bags with 25% bean chips (Amzn happy belly, you know who you are), maybe it makes sense? Anyway, I wash and save old coffee bags for situations like this, so I just transfered it to another bag.
Clear packaging
Although the coffee tasted amazing, I wasn't sure why it was packaged in clear plastic. From everything I read in storing my beans, they should be stored in a cool DARK place away from light. Again, the coffee tasted amazing but not happy with the packaging.
