    Fantastic set! The locomotive runs smoothly and quickly. It comes with two unpainted figures, a coal man and the train driver. It feels like a really good value set because you get a decent amount of track too. Also the oval of track is the ideal size to circumnavigate a large Christmas tree so at Christmas it will be nice to see it travelling around the presents.

    Hard to get rails to connect need to screw down

    Excellent low-budget entry-level set to get a youngster into the hobby, but spoilt by not being sold market ready as it has a UK spec. three pin plug fitted and requires a further purchase of an adaptor to function, not specified in the selling description. Hornby are a good company, but somebody needs to tell Bolo to warn customers about this.
