Perfect size for loose leaf tea, holes are just right. Not so sturdy but doesn’t need to be, performance as expected and easy to use, seal is good.

I found the 2 Pack Tea Strainer Infuser Ball to be a good buy.As long as you ensure there is no leaf on the rim, it closes fairly easily, slightly fiddly to get the little hole on the pin if dexterity has left your fingers, but worth the faff. Once on, the clamp slides over easily.I like a tall cup so really happy to see the hook on the end of the chain (didn't notice that on ordering) ensuring it couldn't fall into the cup.I did try using it with the contents of a broken teabag, there were a few bits in the bottom off the cup, but for that I blame the contents not the ball. When used as intended, with proper loose leaf tea no bits and a well flavoured tea.Cleaning pretty easy too, just open, empty and swoosh under the tap.Very happy with this purchase.

I know reviews say it’s got lots of cons, but I personally think it does the job.I prefer to use stainless steel infuser over a silicone infuser, simply because I’d rather have stainless steel touch my drink than some plastic. Silicone also changes flavour slightly.These are by no means perfect and they do have their disadvantages, for example if you don’t like little bits, or “tea dust” as I call it, it won’t be for you - you’d be better off with biodegradable, disposable tea infusers because they hold everything in.For me though, I don’t really mind having a few small bits in my tea. I think this product is good for what it is and is worth the price.Closing can be a bit awkward once you fill it in, you just have to make sure that the tiny “screw” is fit into the wee hole, and then you can shut the closing lever, sealing the contents inside.Easy to clean, but don’t use rough side of the sponge on it, and don’t use metal scrubbers, because you will destroy it and the wires will start to come out, effecting in small holes and potential danger to your hands.Considering all those things, I’d buy it again anytime. I’m getting a new set because I somehow managed to lose my first one, which was still great.If it starts looking bad, submerge it in vinegar for 30 minutes and then wash as usual.Overall, it’s just good and does what it’s intended to do.

This item was one of the better priced available, it arrived squashed due to really poor packaging.The it self is quite flimsy and can a little fiddly to use. My needed a good wash as it still had production like grease on it. The edges on the inside can trap debris as they are not completely sealed .However it works does what is meant to do. A longer chain would possibly be useful
