We have positioned this on the side of a row of private garages, as we have a converted garage with a flat roof, that is now our bedroom and didn’t want to stop the birds and hedgehogs coming into the garden.Cats wailing every night from 11.30pm and 4.30am was causing many sleepless nights.This has been a godsend. Worked immediately and has stopped the local cat community calling each other.Brilliant .

Iv had a few of these type cat scarers and this was the worst, they never last forever anyway but I don't think this gets enough charge from the solar panel and you can't take the battery out to charge it manually. Just makes a clicking sound with no follow up ultrasonics.

Super easy to install - just clip a couple of parts together, flip the 'on' button and away you go. No choices about different settings to deter different types of animal, but it appears to have worked for me to scare away the badger that was making a complete mess of my lawn. The solar charging should make this maintenance free, and I'll be interested to see how long it lasts. My past experience has been that these plastic outdoor items tend to stop working effectively after a year or so.

Great product for the price point. Seems to work well as there hasn’t been any random cat jobbies in the garden, which is great.Second one we’ve bought as we think a neighbour destroyed the last one. Easy to install and setup.

It stopped the cats from crapping on my lawn and I think they may have learned from the experience because despite the units both failing, there is little cat crap on my lawn even now. Would recommend for their functionality but not their longevity.

Installed it as instructed, just plugged in the ground facing the garden. The garden is clear, just grass no bushes or trees, and it beeps at random without anything passing in from of it.I bought it mainly to chase away neighbor's cat, yet the cat walks freely in front of it and doesn't seem to be very much bothered by the random beeps.Unless I misread something, the repellent doesn't seem to repel cats.

This cat scarer really works. Garden free of mess as soon as I set it up. It took just minutes to put together. Until then I had cats using my front garden every couple of days.
1.0 out of 5 stars The deer stood right in front of it when going off and carried on eating plants does not work
Thought it was working however after a short time the deer returned and would stand right in front of the unit while it triggered taking no notice. Have now purchased one with siren and flashing light and another which sprays water and these seen to be effective. So at least for Deer this product does not work
