5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for wet days
Although it says it’s a adult I’ve brought it for my 10 yr old for school. It folds up in a little bag that I hang on her wheelchair. So she never gets caught out when she outside. It covers her and her chair perfectly
5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps you dry
Came in useful when out with my daughter on holiday and we had a heavy downpour it kept her dry in her wheelchair
4.0 out of 5 stars Short
I like the quality and the fact it is not plain. Some people's complain about the length . I gave 4!stars because I am only 4 foot 10 and it’s just right length so would be short on average height person
3.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed. Just not big enough I’m afraid.
I was so excited to get this as it matches my Bundlebean cosy feet and I got very wet legs in my wheelchair last week! I read the reviews saying it did fit adults and as I’m only 5ft 5” I decided it should be fine on me.Unfortunately, as soon as I tried it on I realised the arms were far too short. If you look at my photo you’ll see there’s at least a hand’s width of arm between the wrist and elbow that isn’t covered when standing - it’s even worse sitting in the wheelchair. The whole point of the poncho is to protect my outstretched arms and upper legs (as well as my head) while I use the controls on my powerchair. I’m not about to start wearing ladies evening gloves just to bridge the gap!I do appreciate that my chest size is 44” so on a smaller adult the poncho may reach further towards the wrist, but I was only wearing a t shirt and a thin jumper so I still think the poncho isn’t suitable for many adults. I also understand that those mobilising themselves in a manual wheelchair don’t want material flapping near the wheel but that shouldn’t mean putting up with soaking wet and freezing arms! It’s certainly very pretty but definitely not value for money and, in my case at least, not awfully practical either. It’s just so disappointing that what is a pretty expensive rain poncho (over £34) is only made in a single adult size with such short arms. It’s going straight back I’m afraid. Now I’m going to have to find another rain poncho and they’re all such boring patterns. Sigh…
5.0 out of 5 stars attractive and functional
a change from the plain, dull ones on the market. pretty and bright and a nice design (seagull). poppers seem firm and well inserted. easy and quick to put on and not too 'flappy' once on. Only note is that the front only just comes to top of knees (as sat) and im not particularly tall. I do love the look though and good for sudden showers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love it
I like it and it matches my bundle bean, it means i can still go out and I am less likely to get caught in my wheels.
5.0 out of 5 stars Its waterproof.
Its exactly what I wanted.
5.0 out of 5 stars It's lovely and does all that it promises.
Hello!I purchased this as I was trying to find a waterproof jacket to wear in my chair for when it's raining but not cold.I loved the elephant design and thought it looked perfect for what I need.....And it is.The pouch it goes in is small and compact, so it fits in my backpack. It would fit in a medium size handbag. It covers my hair, my upper body, thighs to my knees. I'm almost 6ft and a curvy lady, and it fits. The peak covers my head and face, it buttons up under my chin so it will stay on.The material isn't lined, but I wasn't expecting it to be. The fabric isn't that horrible cheap nasty sweaty type, it's just nice and so far waterproof.
