    The head-mount magnifier comes with batteries and a set of magnifying lenses that clip into an adjustable holder. The light is very bright and approximates to daylight spectrum. As with all lenses the higher the power the shallower the depth of field in focus, so a good rule is to use the lowest magnification possible, but there is plenty of choice and changing the lenses over is quick and very easy. Given how much is incorporated in the magnifier it is light and comfortable to wear and I found I was happy to just fold the lens out of the way, keeping the magnifier in position on my head, if I needed just to look without magnification. It is well designed, adjustable and great value for money. It would be useful for a variety of tasks: jewellery making or repair, watch repair, biological specimen dissection, placing sutures, splinter removal, skin lesion examination, examination of mineral samples, etc.

    all in all the glasses are very helpful but the light only lasted one or two battery changes and then started flickering - short while later stopped all together. I haven't even used them that much - a bit disappointing really

    Early days yet but so far used for electronics work and painting. The light is a good feature when soldering and the batteries don't make it too heavy. I was able to wear these with my glasses with some fiddling. Second pair for the other half in the basket.
