I’ve been using the LEVOIT Air Purifier in my bedroom for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is, even on higher settings—it doesn’t disturb my sleep at all. In fact, it has a calming white noise effect when it’s on the medium or high fan speeds.The air quality in my room has noticeably improved. I have allergies, and this purifier has helped reduce the dust and pet dander that used to trigger them. The HEPA filter really makes a difference, and I appreciate that it’s ozone-free, so I don’t have to worry about harmful byproducts.It’s also super easy to use. The controls are straightforward, and I love that it has a night mode that dims the display and lowers the noise. This is a review after three months use of this air-purifier.When it was first out of the box and set up it seemed to make an instant difference - or atleast the fresh, clean smell from the activated charcoal component of the filter certainly gives that impression on first use.What this small unit is up against: Neighbours who chain-smoke 24/7 (As a neighbour, when you smoke in "your" home you also smoke in "mine" because smoke spreads out and diffuses into everything nearby - even through small cracks in closed and doubled-glazed windows - if you smoke please consider your poor neighbours who may actually be suffering terribly), mould and microbes from neighbours whose place leaks into mine, other nasty air pollutants, road fumes, occasional cooking, dust, ect.The first thing to realise is that this unit can only really cover a small area - maybe a small to medium-sized room, so a home-wide air pollution problem is beyond it's capacity. And as far as the size of each air-pollutant particle - some are simply too small for it to capture (I have previously used an ionizing air-purifier that is more effective overall as it claims to be able to capture air-pollution particles down to a smaller size through the air-ionizing part - but the amount however little, of ozone that it produced was enough to trigger airway inflammation and asthma, so unfortunately that model self-excluded itself).PROSIt's small and lightweight and doesn't take up too much space - the size and shape of something like a small waste-paper basket.It's controls are very simple and intuitive and very responsive to simply touching your finger to the control-face.It's not too expensive (as long as it remains reasonably priced it's worth it).It's quite quiet - but if you like absolute silence then it may distract you at full setting, on the other hand if you have noisy neighbours it may help to distract a little. I found it okay.It seems to do something, which in a badly air-polluted home is still a help.It has a blue night-light that has three settings: bright, dim, and off.You can also switch off all of the function lights (if you need absolute darkness in the room), by simply pressing and holding the light-bulb button for three seconds, and then simply tap the light-bulb button to switch them back on if you want.CONSAlthough it's not too expensive it's still money and costs quite a lot.The principle cost will be - as with all air purifiers - the replacement filters, and if the price climbs much then it doesn't become worth it, so it's price can easily make or break the deal.The filters appear to lose their effectiveness in about a month here. I felt that at some point it wasn't helping at all and maybe even adding to the problems due to the filter being "full" and I imagined that being saturated past a certain amount it might even harbour mould or something (but this thought would be true of all filters and makes and models that I know of), and although I ran it for about 77 days, I think that it was doing at least something worthwhile for only about a month, this could possibly be stretched to six weeks but that would really be it - after that the filter needs changing, at least I found it so *see attached photos where I compare the filter used for 77 days to a brand new one unpacked and ready to go, also note that the outer filter (not pictured) was removed and washed and dried several times over that time as dust built up on it's surface turning it from black to grey*Also the seal on the "old" filter seemed to shrink or something as I noticed a little gap between the outermost edge of the filter (which is ringed by some foam material to provide a snug-fit) and the inside-edge of the unit itself - I noticed it because of how snugly the new filter fit in as compared to how more easily the old filter came out - so perhaps the foam edge ringing the filters may shrink over time during use?I sometimes noticed dust build-up all around it even when left on the top setting. However, I do not remember if this was also true before the month or six week mark.It only covers a small area and it's air-flow is not very powerful.Overall this unit started out struggling valiantly but relatively soon became overwhelmed.I have been unsure if I would purchase this again, but at this time I think that I would, but only just. Ideally I would have two or maybe even three spread out and change the filters about every month. This does quickly become an expensive prospect so there's always that to think about as the bottom line.

This a great little air purifier for a small room. Its simple and modern styling means it doesn’t stick out in your room and because of its small footprint, it doesn’t take up much space. It’s very quiet on “low” and barely noticeable when on sleep mode. The lights go off so it keeps the room dark and doesn’t disturb me even though I’m a light sleeper.The filters are easy to fit. Remove the bags and insert both filters, replace the lid and you’re set.The air definitely feels fresher with this in the room, and less dust collects on the surfaceThe only downside is that it defaults to “off” when turned on at the plug so using a timer plug won’t work with this machine. I tend to leave it on continuously instead as it only uses about 5w of power so it costs about 3p a day to run full time.These are a good enough price that I’m willing to buy a couple of more for my office and living room

It stops me from waking up with a annoying stuffy nose/congested sinuses every morning ever since I put this by my bedside table. This fact alone validates my purchase and I give it a 5 star rating.I also only replaced the filters twice. I just vacuum the filters from the excess dust and reuse. I may be coming up to a point I need to buy a new filter. So I go through 1 filter a year basically.It's never broken on me or caused me issues. Works perfectly.

It says it’s not reusable but I bet if you tear it apart you can clean it and air dry the individual pieces so they don’t grow mold :)

Un excelente producto, en verdad no dudes en comprarlo.En primer lugar me pareció un buen precio, compré la versión que solo incluye los 2 filtros de base de triple capa. Ya en 6 meses mas compraré los repuestos.El Purificador es de tamaño ideal, ligero, con materiales de calidad, resistentes, de textutra y color agradables.Diseño sencillo de usar, simplemente lo volteas, sacas los filtros para quitarles la envoltura plástica, los vuelves a colocar, cierras, conectas, enciendes con un ligero toque y listo.MUY SILENCIOSO, no sé porque otros compradores se han quejado, yo lo puse en la velocidad alta y casi no se escucha, mucho menos en velocidad baja o en sleep; realmente funciona sin ruido.Inicialmente lo puse por 3 ó 4 intervalos de 25 minutos para no cansar tanto el motor de un solo golpey si, poco a poco fui sintiendo el cambio en el aire. Al principio producía un olor típico de plástico nuevo, pero horas después ya se fue disipando.Ya por la noche lo dejé en la velovidad baja por tiempos de 1 o 2 horas y si duerme uno mas cómodo, el aire se siente ligero, limpio, despierta uno con una sensación de descanso y una respiración mas completa y relajada.Lo único que lamento es no haberlo comprado desde hace 30 ó 40 años, porque cada día la ciudad donde vivo está mas y mas contaminada y ahora me doy cuenta de lo importante que es tener un Purificador de Aire.

We have 4 air purifiers in the house.These filters are worth the money and they clean the air. We notice when the filter is not cleaning the air as I my allergies start up. (this would be after 2 months of it going full time in our home)It is easy to fit into the air purifier, and they are small enough you can store them for when you need to change the filters.I recommend these for your air purifiers!
